how come people can break stun from streak in a second or never get the stun , but....

There have been tons of times i get frozen in place for 2 seconds or more while i am getting killed by 2 people and can't break free or dodge at all during the time.

most of it is lag/desync

some people run the red cp that gives you a free cc break every so often (slippery i think) which is likely part of why you would see people break out fast

when you are getting hit by a lot, in a lot of cases its usually a combination of lag + some server desync such as when a ball group is nearby or a large zerg

Assuming this is in a BG (given the forum section, and deducing not a duel (mention of multiple people from the OP) slippery is not an option here, as CP is disabled in BGs.

@Quethrosar - could be a couple of things; you were out of stamina. Or, your stamina was bugged which results from the things @Necrotech_Master has mentioned (lag/desync). I experience this more often than I'd like, but playing tanks I'm less impacted. But feel your frustration for sure.

To help mitigate the impact of lag on my play, when I 1vsX I just spam breakfree a couple times as soon as I see my CC immunity wear off - because any good attacker will be waiting for the opportunity to reapply a root/CC. Just get ahead of it. Less reaction, more prediction will give you the edge in most battles.

Adding something here: there's a plethora of addons that will play an audible noise when you get stunned. With these addons installed, it's much easier to break free extremely quickly than when relying on visual cues alone. If you're struggling with breaking free in a timely manner, I suggest trying out these addons (CC Tracker is the one I use).

Yes, you'll still run into times when, despite having enough stamina, the game won't let you break free. Yes, even those players that seem to break free instantly will have days where the game doesn't let them break free either. Part of it is simply confirmation bias - you're simply not seeing, recognizing, or remembering the times when it's happening to your enemy.
