Devs,

I will LITERALLY pay you money to have the books show up on the map or minimap. I’m not asking you to make it easier. I will still run around the whole world and explore.

But the difference between PC with mods and consoles with no mods is so obvious and frustrating.

You’ve given console players other icons recently on minimap can we do the same for mage’s guild please ??

The first thing I want is a MINIMAP. There are no words to describe just how invaluable it is on PC with a mod. There are so many QOL things that ZOS can do for console players, and I don't understand why they don't.

Icons for the mage guild books would be fantastic. I don't think I've ever leveled the mages guild to max since its just so tedious without add ons.
    AD - For the Queen!
    PSEU: Relaryn - Altmer Vampblade | Kazhran - Khajiit Stamsorc | Khahan-ra - Khajiit Magplar | Ra'ban - Khajiit MagDK | Gaelhwen - Bosmer Stamden

PCEU: Kazhran - Khajiit Stamsorc | Khahan-ra - Khajiit Stamplar | Relaryn - Altmer Vampblade

Sometimes even WITH addons the books are hard to spot. I can't imagine how tedious it is on console

Yeah, some of those books are well hidden (and I dislike that the addon shows books that only show up after a quest is completed)

I definitely wouldn't have leveled up the mages guild line/found even 1/4 of the books I have if I didn't have an addon that said 'hey, here is a book!'

Not to take away the fact that I agree with OP, I do want to remind that the MG can also be leveled up by completing MG daily quests.

Isn’t there a way to do this by grouping up with people and you all each do the daily quests per person? I’ve tried this before but I don’t even know how to find groups of people to do that one specific thing on console. It’s like waiting for all the stars to align

Other than that I only get one daily quest a day right ? It’s not enough. :/.

    Repeatable quests would be amazing.

Yes. There are 15 unique quests, and you can do all 15 on a single character in the same day if you get shares. Social guilds can often offer events like this (for Mages Guild, Fighters Guild, Undaunted, World Bosses, etc.). The new group finder might also work.

Each daily quest gives 10 reputation, so doing all 15 dailies for the Mages Guild would net you 150 rep per day. A single book gives 5, and finishing a collection gives 20. 1380 total rep is required to max the Mages Guild line.

Open up a guide on the side and just use it for reference. Match the locations from it to your in game map, mark a waypoint and just go look. I've leveled it several times doing it that way. Never made me frustrated enough to desperately want an add on to show me.

I’ve literally done this and I can tell I’m not alone in saying no it’s NOT easy. It’s a clunk slugfest doing it this way.

I’ve even tried to position an iPad screen like right near my face and use the ESO app while doing it. It’s still clunky and cumbersome
