Endless Archive Feedback

Hello Everyone.

After many runs of Endless Archive i wanted to give my feedback on my experience, and hopefully point out some areas of improvement, that could make the experience better for everyone.
I have also collected feedback from a lot of people who have ran the archive and had even deeper runs than me.

First I want to say that i have really been enjoying the archives, I always loved both Maelstrom Arena and Vateshran Hollows, and the Endless Archives really feels like a culmination of those experiences, allowing it to be experienced with a friend or companion, being able to invest into long term upgrades to make the experience easier/faster and the fact that it's not a speedrun challenge, but rather a more rogue-like dungeon are all things i wanted to see in those previous arenas.

I think the overall difficulty scaling is fine, although there are some weird spikes, I don't like how 1 marauder is infinitely more dangerous than the other 2 for example.

The lore, the minigames, the banter by the arc boss are all really cool, and it's rare that i laugh at puns, but Tomefoolery really made me chuckle.

That being said, I want to point out a few key areas where i think the Archives could use some improvement, for its long term health.

1. Visions
The current balance of visions i feel like is completely out of whack. I want to point out something interesting, by arc 6 regular mobs have over 10x as much HP as in arc1 and also hit considerably harder. This is important, because you want to pick up at least some visions that increase your damage, however, right now, Focused Efforts dwarfs every other damage vision by a significant margin.
Focused Efforts gives 500% increased damage with status effects, per vision, which means that even a build with 3k weapon or spell damage ends up getting 40-50k burning/poisoned/bleeding ticks by the time you pick up all 5. In comparison other damage increasing visions, like the ones that increase aoe or dot damage for example give 3%(yepp) per vision. 3% vs 500% you do the math. And its not like its hard to get status effects into any build, elemental susceptibility gives 3 on a free skill right away.
I would like to see other damage visions to be buffed to at least 20-25% at least if not more.

I also would like to see the ability of the same visions being offered more often if we already have them picked, to enable some sort deck building, as opposed to the total RNG that we currently have.

2. No saving.
I don't understand why we can't save our progress as long as we have threads left. The content gets progressively more difficult the deeper we go, it's not like saving would sidestep this.
Having to play upwards of 6-8 hours in almost 1 sitting for a deep run goes completely opposite of the rest of the game. Pretty much every dungeon/trial/arena can be completed in a couple of hours at most, which is in line with how a casual friendly game should work. Why then, is it different for the archives?

3. Boss difficulty
While i don't think the first few arcs are difficult, I also don't think trial bosses with several mechanics, some of them 1 shot potential, should be present in arc 1.
I think it would make more sense for more difficult and complex bossfights to be introduced in later arcs, just like how the Tho'at fight gets gradually more complex over the first 4 arcs.

4. Bugs
I really hope this is going to be priority for the team.
Wheter its procsets and mythics having to be reequiped after a transformation, or Zhaj’hassa's pillars bugging out, the archives is littered with bugs, some of them probably not even well known.

Welp, thats it!

I agree that other visions needs to buffed significantly. If they nerf Focused Efforts there is no point of going past Arc five at least solo. Because it will take a lot more time as it is already taking significant of time anyway.
