Do you want to see a ESO app? For the premium on this game, I don't think it would be something unreasonable to expect.

And if so, what kind of features would you like to see? (Edited to include comments and new ideas)

- Guild Chat
- Inventory
- Map
- PvPvP summary
- Browse guild store
- 2 Factor authentication
- Your personal book of discovered alchemy/cooking combinations
- Research: Current research time and start new research*
- Horse stats
- ect?

The developers probably dont want to include anything that will reduce the number of times you log on.
And @michael.fielderrwb17_ESO makes a good point, it may become redundant later.

yes, most mmo's have one now, and some are quite well functioning, even the f2p ones. I'd like it to have an interactive map for sure kinda like smartglass for xbone, that would make adventuring more fun imo.

Would definitely prefer this first, especially with the account name displayed in guild rosters and friend list.

I agree, I feel as though ESO should come out with an interactive app just like SmartGlass for the Xbox. With interactive maps that you can tie your account/character to so you can see character progression in certain areas along with possible node locations you've discovered in the past. We could chat for hours about this though..

I already submitted /feedback in game that a mobile Operation System App would be great. If you would like (insert name of feature) /feedback it. I agree the authentication is needed too.

I think an app is a good idea. The one feature I really want an ESO app for would be a remote craft researching tool. Allows access to set new traits to research while out of the game at work, at play, etc.

Yeah that would be a good idea with options like being able to view and manage guilds including guild chat, check rankings, edit skill trees utilize the map with regards to where to find specific ingredients sort of a eso wiki.

An app that tracks your research and horse feeding timers would be great. Although research timers would only be handy in the beginning, researching that 8th trait on armor is going to take 32 days if the doubling trend continues (I'm up to 48hrs for 4th trait on resto staff)

Bump - yes I would love a companion app. As others stated, I'd prefer a solid 2-factor authenticator app first, along with any other security improvements that can be made like taking account name out of anywhere it appears today. This was a highly unconventional... idea, to list half of the information required to steal an account in the open.

I'd love to see an App, and if we're paying a sub for the game, I think ZoS should develop one. Even some free to play MMOs have this functionality. Would be awesome to be able to hangout in Guild chat while I'm doing other things. +1

Let's see..

• Browse the guild store of my current guild.
• Browse the guild store of any keeps we own.
• Live map with nearby resource node display (but only if I have the skill that highlights resources)
• Current research timers and the ability to start new research

It would be cool to view account bank as well as all inventory on each char as well as a world map and a collection map to show each collectible you picked up as well as the achievements edit: also showing your char build and stats would be nice

I agree with basically all of the above. It's always nice to be able to check into parts of the game from an app. But really, authenticator and guild chat are a must!

This should all be possible to do with the modding API tie ins.
Personally I think it would be better for the modding community to build this and as long as it's a free app it should be fine.

• Browse Guild Stores you have access to but not purchase.
• Browse Guild Banks / Personal Banks
• Character layout showing what you are currently wearing and possibly a stat breakdown.

Do not want to overload the app with bloat or unnecessary features or abilities.

All of the above, like Path of Exile does it with two additions:
Show me which quests are reported by players as broken so I can avoid them.
Mark NPS on an interactive map so I can see clearly where they are instead of vanilla's stacked labels.

1 research notifaction when off line
2 horse training available
3 notify if I Have mail


Guild chat/stores when not on, I think is just crazy to add. to many different ones over 3 platforms to be put on 1 app, ya I see that working well

Y do u need a map when ur not on line,
Learn how to farm the way the rest of us did and explore like u are suppose to

Remember it's an app the less it has the better it works

I think I saw read lore books really just reed them as u find them

Would be nice for an ESO app to come. Sometimes when away I wish i could do horse training or research and check on the guild store or just even chat. I know many mmos do stuff like this now and ESO I'm sure will be a helpful and awesome app. I am with you for this, who knows may one day this app idea might become real

Id love an app just to manage the bank space on my characters and browse Guild Stores.
Although I'd much rather they fix the problems on the game than create an app that is likely to be riddled with bugs too.
A build simulator would be epic too.

I would love an ESO app. I like all the features you listed, but authenticator and guild chat would be my top priority. Buying/selling in the guild stores would be my next wish.

It would be amazing to have something like this. I believe Neverwinter has implemented something very similar to this.
