As soon as it flies, i fight those ice atros and step away from AOEs but i get damage constantly and die. Before the flying part, it's no problem. There must be a mech I'm missing, but what it is?

the edges of the arena also do dot dmg

the thing that usually kills me the most with that fight is not paying attention to where the dragon is going and i get killed by the frost breath strafe attack because he really likes to come up behind you

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

I still have no clue. Here Xynode shows how to kill 68+ bosses, but Laatvulon is unfortunately not one of them. No video, no article, nothing about that boss. I doubted that boss appeared to only me for a while.

Never had any issues... just stay out of the ice spikes that the atros spawn out of, and keep an eye on the dragon flying around, he'll do a couple strafes across the center during that phase, move to the side relative to him so you don't get hit by it

I lost 2 threads in arc 1 to him and was reminded of this thread. It's the breath attack, keep an eye to the skies and stand into the sliver of space between the area he's breathing through and the wall.

The breath is really dangerous in this fight, you have to pay attention when he flies. I usually don't bother with the atros a lot for this reason and just keep tracking the dragon. But I save my ulti, so when he lands I can damage the atros then.

I will keep it in mind. How to spot that breath? Normally, breath attacks make a conal dangerous color(default is red but mine is pink) area coming from the monster's mouth. I haven't seen such dangerous color areas, I've only seen some AOEs around ice spikes. Other than them, everywhere looks frozen and having icy smoke around.(As far as I can remember)

It doesn't have a warning telegraph, once the dragon is in the sky he will fly for a few seconds and then will sweep and breath a streak of lightning across the floor. You can keep an eye when he's flying, and when he's about to swoop down, position yourself on a different angle. I usually stay near the edge during that phase, because I find it less dangerous than sitting in the middle, and even if the end of the strike happens to fall at that part of the edge, it's easier to side step it, if that makes sense, than side stepping it in the middle. Once you get used to tracking the dragon it will be easier to avoid the streak.

the only dragon in the game that doesn't show where he will strike, and this game needs to pick a view, 1st or 3rd not needing to switch between them to play.

I've defeated him today. But, it was 1st arc difficulty and still made me suffer a bit.
