Solitude view - ugly sharp horizon line

Can this be prevented?

Something similar is visible from the Markarth house too. It’s a shame to pay that many crowns and have a horrible low-res view.

I actually 'traced' the origin of that line in the game and apparently it is the real horizon line. You can see it when you go north from Solitude. However, it's less noticeable because it's lower to the ground and usually some hills/icebergs are floating on it.

The only thing game should do is blur it a bit. Looks even worse when you use Depth of Field, because everything in the distance is blurred except that line (as seen at the image above).

I just love the looks and feels of the Patio from Proudspire Manor, but this line is almost killing any immersion when you look outside.

It's even worse at dusk.

We don’t have any options like Depth of Field on console. It is what it is.

Well you're not missing anything. DoF makes the surroundings look worse or artificially blurred.

Sadly, nothing was done for this. It's been a year.

It's better when used with Simple Depth Of Field, as Circular is not authentic anyway.

Still, not sure why Skyrim's horizon isn't 'copy/pasted' from Daggerfall and other areas that look good?

Though it IS faithful to un-modded Skyrim!

Same thing happened to the ship house. I've got draw distance and all graphics maxed out.
