I just want to know if the character actually drinks their drink at any point. I tried it for a few mins and unless I missed it, my character never touched their drink.

i wouldn't say drink, mine looked like she was pouring it over her face it was held so high, but it did happen!

I would like one where we are sitting on the ground. I can suspend disbelief that I can pull a cup and tea out of my arse pack but a large wooden chair is just oo much.
