Sorcerer or Nightblade for messing with pvp players?

xxxJUSTICExxx
Here is the thing, my main is Necro Tank. And I just realized how boring his skills are comparing to NB and Sorc.
So I would prefer something different, like quick in - quick out gameplay and any kinds of troubles for enemies like stuns, immobilisations etc. Obvious answer is NB would be the best choice. But Sorc with control abilities and teleport (blink) could be interesting too.
So here is the question - will Sorcerer be good enough for pvp in this case? Or I just have some unreal dreams about this class' mobility and eventually I will be standing far away and trying not to get one-shoted?

    Go NB.

It hits much harder for significantly less effort, has insane healing (something sorcerer severely lacks) and on top of it all, has access to the best utility in the game with the bar space to actually use it.

If you want the teleport aspect, the current iteration of mist form is actually very feasible on NB, despite what others will try to claim (you also don't need elusive mist buffs due to having them on other abilities so you can run blood mist for an extra DoT + heal). There are quite a few tricks with mist form that NB can pull off as well that can make it on par with streak in some cases.

This comes down to how fast you can get comfortable on Sorcerer compared to NB, but sorcerers mobility is not as advantageous as it used to be with the countless cheap/free sources of movement speed available to all classes currently with swift jewelry trait + CP meaning all classes can become very mobile without losing out on much to do so.

Sorcerer also has a significantly less forgiving learning curve to learn to play it than NB does with a much higher required skill ceiling than NB has, for what will essentially amount to a net zero payoff for mastering it compared to mastering NB.

Finally, I would also personally steer clear of sorcerer in PvP for the meantime, there is a huge bug with negate currently that too many players are exploiting, so trying to run sorcerer (even if you aren't running negate at all) can potentially lead to problems with reports, toxicity, etc, until the bug is fixed.

i think in the current meta, NB will be easier to learn and play

sorc takes quite a lot of skill to play, but in the right hands can be very deadly too for burst dmg, but its more risky without running meta gear because sorcs do have a lot of hurdles to get around, such as a lack of a burst heal that isnt a cast time or relies on a pet (dark exchange/deal can be interrupted and has a forced 1 sec cast time and doesnt scale great or the twilight which dies easy)

stam sorc is a fast mobile playstyle, but in the current game most people will say relies on procs to carry it, mag sorc can still do ranged burst, but have to be aware a lot of the burst attacks can be dodged

NB usually does better because of the class kit, the cloak giving them an element of surprise, but you have to pick your targets because a target with too much health you wont kill fast enough before they can heal up
