Endless Archive runners

Just did my first Endless on live and yes you only get one piece of the armor. You will have to run the Endless Archive 252 times to get the full armor pieces of all classes. I ran it solo on my Nightblade and died once to the Acr 3 boss(the one that drop`s the armor piece for your class). Tested Pearlescent and it gave me weapon damage while Ember was out so I assume I got the damage reduction when she died and she did. I assume that you will get an armor piece for the class that you brought in. Not to hard but like I stated my first so I will continue on.

It took about 30-40 minutes, i`m running the quest from the crown store. It requires 5 pages and I just found one on the second run, if don`t take the adds down quickly you will get a boss.

Yes, class set drop is for the class you were running first until you fill all pieces in (all 3 weights + weapons). Pieces drop only from Act boss, so depending on your speed its around 3-4 pieces per hour. You can buy curated drop for 15k fortunes or gamble a random piece for 4k. Going to Act 3 gives around 4k fortunes if you are also doing Portals to the Unknown.

It is grindy, if you are a completionist the amount will haunt you, especially since completing all achievements awards a mount and achievements require to buy the boon upgrades that are quite costly.

About that merchant, I have been trying to find it but no luck. Is there something I must complete? Ah found it, off to the left in the beginning toward the back. You will see two yellowish banners and a bridge will get built.

you dont have to run it 252 times lol

if you clear arc 2 including the marauder, that is 3 pc of gear in 1 run

you can also spend 2000 archival fortunes to buy uncurated boxes of set gear, which in the gear stages like this where you have very little collected, it might be worth it if you want to trim down how much you run

i personally havent bought of the gear boxes from the merchant and ive collected almost 20 pc of set gear across several classes lol

Run arc 1 once per day on every class you want to gear up, and then buy set gear boxes in between when you have enough fortunes to do so. If your toons are strong enough, run arc 2 = 2 set items per toon per day, and not including what you get from boxes.

It's a bit slow, but no slower than grinding any other group activity for gear sets (trials or dungeons) - might even be faster since you don't have to wait on groups in the dungeon finder, or find players in guild to help out.

Besides, I won't even bother running it for gear on most of my classes, unless I'm interested in collecting the items, since I won't actually be using any of the gear anyway. It would be just for completion of the stickerbook.

Can also confirm the later arcs, and the marauders in those arcs, start giving double drops.
