Can't get Chokethorn Pauldrons

xxxJUSTICExxx
So I went to Elden Hollow 1 many times. I got billions of helmets of all types. But NOT a single type of Pauldrons. Did all mini bosses as well.
Can't be that % of this item's drop is so low. Do I miss smth?
And another curious thing is I got all possible items from that dungeon but Chokethorn Pauldrons and Nightflame Pauldrons.

you can only get monster helms from the dungeon boss itself on vet difficulty

you have to buy monster shoulders with undaunted keys from uncurated boxes, or hope it shows up in the gold vendor on the weekends that you can buy with gold or AP

This happens a lot. ZOS should work on their communication with where to get shoulders (maybe by mousing over it in the collections menu) and update information.

Grats on the helm. Now the real grind begins for the shoulders and your fate is up to RNGesus.

You get the Monster Shoulder pieces from the Undaunted Pledge givers. There are three Pledge givers. Two for non DLC and one for DLC dungeons. The Shoulder pieces you desire will come from the pledge giver that has the Pledge for that particular dungeon.
You can also get lucky and get them from the Golden Vendor in Cyrodil on the weekends. She appears (currently) at 7 p.m. EST U.S. on Friday in the port in areas. I think she disappears at 12 midnight on Sunday but that I am not certain of.

There are two areas you can port into when you enter Cyrodil. She will be in one of them so if you don't see her "golden" glow then go to the other area via the Transitus Shrine. The shoulder pieces sell for Gold or Alliance Points.

Save your Undaunted Keys from the pledge runs and when you think you have enough then go to the Pledge giver for that particular Monster set and spend your Undaunted keys. 5 keys will get you a coffer with one of two Monster shoulder pieces. That usually is your best bet i.m.o.

    Good luck!

Just wanted to add to this for the OP's awareness.

You get one key per normal dungeon. It takes 5 keys for one coffer, which will offer you the shoulder for one of two sets (one you need one you don't).
Keep in mind, its RNG - so if each dungeon took you 20 minutes (not including Queue times) to run that's 100 minutes spent on a random chance.
Also add to that - pledges are a daily, and if I recall there's only 3 per day. (might be 4, been awhile since I gave up the ridiculousness of it).
Also to add to that, pieces come in light, medium and heavy greatly decreasing the odds you get what you want even further).
Also, it's entirely possible that you get multiple of the same pieces you already got (further decreasing your odds)
So... where I'm going with this it could take you weeks or months, depending on how grindy you want to let yourself be.

So.. GOOD LUCK!! As so eloquently said previously. :)

Just wanted to make sure you received the glass half empty version to balance the half full one.

So.. GOOD LUCK!! As so eloquently stated previously. :)
