Event Passive XP Boost Question

I know people are saying the xp boost is working as intended, but for me it isn't. Not getting any xp boost at all from the event passive. I know this because I have been comparing xp to what it normally is and it is the same. I always pay attention to how much xp I am getting from kills, so I know what is normal and what is boosted. Since the start of the event, after playing all day each day (~4am-4pm) I have received only one point in each CP tree...should be higher if xp is boosted based on past results with xp scrolls. Also, I just used the xp scroll from today's login rewards and am now getting 100% xp boost as intended from that.

Am I missing something? I know using the whistle is not necessary any more but tried it just in case; as expected, there was no change.

Go to group finder and see how much queue for an random dungeon will give you. if you are above cp 160 it should show a bit over 202k xp, standard is 101k xp but you get double because the event.
Other xp buffs and enlightenment will also affect this.

So, does the xp boost only apply if you are grouped? I didn't think so, but figure I'd better check.

The xp boost is definitely applied to ungrouped players, but I've only been checking via quest and random dungeon xp, not via kill xp as I didn't have reference values.

No the random dungeon was just an reference where the xp reward is well known.
I know that companions level super fast in nDSA now. Got Sharp from level 17 to 20 in one go.

Okay, thanks for the replies, kringled_1 and zaria. Didn't think it made any sense that you would have to be grouped for the boost.

Checked the dungeon finder, normal xp. So I guess I am just out of luck. Don't know if it would be worth submitting a ticket at this point, since there are just a few days left. Not the worst thing that could happen to me, at any rate.

What level character were you on when you checked the dungeon finder?

Another way to check is to do a daily writ. How much xp are you getting for those (and on what level character with which other XP buffs)?

Ok, ty. What other xp buffs did you have going?

Writs give a base value of 748 xp, so getting 17k+ for all seven is over 3x their normal value (5,236).
