Endless Archive bug - run breaking

I submitted a bug in game (231030-037193) but there is a game breaking bug with the Endless Archive.

If a bonus portal appears at the end of a stage 2 (the one before a boss fight) it can bug out and kill your run. What happens is that if you take the bonus portal, the bonus portal room will load, briefly flash, then you are transported the boss room instead.

However the boss never appears so you must port out and abandon the run. I tried killing myself by jumping off the platform but it does not make a boss spawn.

In my last run the bonus portal tried to take me to the goat mini-game. However, I had completed the goat mini-game on Arc 1. When I took the bonus portal in Arc 2, the goat room appeared again for a brief second and then I was put in an empty boss room.

Update: If you kill yourself in the boss room, then hit spawn at wayshrine, then try and enter the archive again, it will put you in the bonus room.

But you have to lose a thread to get it to reset. So it is still pretty run ending.

This same thing happened to me, I was turned into a goat and sent to boss room, and my partner was sent to the extra mission room. I couldn't die,even by jumping off of the map. I logged out then back in and it sort of fix the issue, except that I was stuck as a goat for the rest of the run. It made for some hilarious scenes.

Just had this to happen to me, i`m in the area right now. I went to the area to transformed to a goat then to this area, I was in the area to transformed to a goat like a .5 second then to this area. No boss in this area.

Update: just killed myself and still no boss.

Update: left the instance then came back in and was directly ported to the area you get transformed into a goat.

This happened to me and my friend as well. She activated the bonus portal, but only I was transported to the minigame. She was moved ahead to the boss, but turned into a goat. I completed the minigame but was unable to move on to join her because she hadn't claimed her loot.

In the end, we were able to resolve this by both leaving the instance and re-joining, at which point she was moved to the minigame and the portal appeared and we moved on.

We're both on PC NA. Here's a picture of her in the boss room as a goat.

I guess I should have looked further for a thread about this instead of posting on the thread that the mod directed to which was about a slightly different issue. Repeating my post here so it is in the right place. Would add that I suspect she was a goat the whole time but only I could see that she was when I finally escaped the butchery. We are on PC EU.

The goat bug hit me and another player I was running EA with today.

We went into a unknown portal right before the Tho'at fight at arc 1. I arrived at the butchery but she was at Tho'at instead. I ran the goat bit, beat the butcher and was stuck as a goat. No loot, no extra verse, and no portal.

I ported out of the instance, turned back into a human and ported back in. But when I tried to re-join my companion it took me back to the goat area and turned me back into a goat again. I ran it again and this time let him kill me. That triggered me changing back and the portal opening. My friend, however, had decided to relog to see if that fixed it. I went through the portal to Tho'at, she came back online but now she was in a goat form. She had a normal skill bar but was stuck as a goat for the entire run. From her point of view she appeared to be human, it was only me seeing her as a goat.

When we went into another unknown portal and got turned into watchers, it turned her into that without a problem but when it turned her back she was a goat again.

Amusing and I took the opportunity to snap a few screen shots like this one of a goat facing the dragon (because I can't seem to go a run without pulling one of those). Naturally I was dead.

So Frustrating! The enemies/bosses continuously get stuck in the books and prevent any further progress. You can't tease them out or do any damage - they just keep firing on you.

Tried the "Get Me Unstuck" trick but was advised "You cannot use that while in combat".

Just really sucks. Submitted a bug report but not really interested in going though this pain again and again.
