Those in power only have the illusion they are powerful, however in reality, those in power are only so because we allow them to be.

If Netflix makes it, expect the show to be terrible. They should outsource it to a company that cares more about the product.
Just look at the phenomenal job that HBO did with Game of Thrones, or Amazon did with Wheel of Time.
When I think of Netflix I think of The Witcher and that entire fiasco with Henry Cavill and how he felt that “artistic liberties” were being taken to deviate away from the original source content.

I too had heard of the Netflix discussions but that was a long time ago. To be honest, I'm not sure I see the appeal of Elder Scrolls as a movie or TV series. The lore often struggles with the back-of-a-napkin way in which it was initially worked out for Arena. Great for a game. Not so much when the only thing you have going for you is storytelling (ie TV or film) and so the sometimes generic and highly contrived nature of some of the lore would come to the fore. But, well, sometimes (very rarely -- Arcane,* Castlevania) the visual adaptation is allowed to escape poor source material to good results.
* By the end of Arcane, though, you did have to wonder how a second season will ever work, given that they'd regressed to computer gameyness. Which was a shame when they'd done SO MUCH to stop it being a silly cartoon about people with special weapons hitting each other.
