Need Help! Only doing 50,000 damage!

Hello. First of all, I want to thank this forum for helping me and recommending changes to me, the majority of which I ultimately followed up on (more on that below). The insightful recommendations helped catapult me from doing a range of 20,000-35,000 damage to a reliable 50,000 damage. It's also made me enjoy this game more. So thank you to you guys for that. Below I've listed all of the recommendations and suggestions I've been given to reach my goal of doing a good amount of damage.

Here are the following recommendations (and changes) I made:
1) Obtained Oakensoul ring
2) Changed my previous Bahsei Mania/Kinra set to Sergeant's Mail/Storm Master (and kept it to at least epic/purple level)
3) Changed Sergeant's Mail to 2 jewelry, lightning staff and one body piece (chest) with the rest being Storm Master
4) Dumped inferno staff for lightning staff
5) Upgraded (at least) lightning staff to gold level (there was a comment that if I couldn't afford to upgrade my armor to gold level then upgrade at least my lightning staff to gold level)
6) Changed all of my armor enchantments from Stamina/Health to Magicka
7) Changed weapon enchantment to Weapon/Spell Damage
8) Changed jewelry/accessories enchantments to Weapon/Spell Damage
9) Changed armor traits to Divines
10) Changed jewelry/accessories traits to "Bloodthirsty"
11) Swapped Trap Beast skill for Wall of Elements (Blockade of Storms IV) skill

There are still changes that I need to make and I'm in the process of making those changes. For example:
1) Upgrading all of my armor from epic/purple level to legendary/gold
2) Changing (all) of the jewelry/accessories traits to "Bloodthirsty" (two more to go)
3) Changing (all) of the armor traits to "Divines" (three more to go)

Does anybody have advice (in plain English please, because I'm not technical when it comes to this game) about how I can increase DPS/damage from 50,000 to much higher?

    Pretty tired right now but a couple of points:
    • all armour should have divine trait
    • all jewels bloodthirsty trait
    • slotted blue cp: master-at-arms, weapons expert, fighting finesse and exploiter (backstabber only works on target dummy/enemies if standing behind/sides target). [edit: suggestion here for SOLO only; for organised group content see @Soarora 's comment below]
    • change to bi-stat food; not sure why you're using witchmothers on HA since you essentially have infinite resources

    Others will have more to say. There's a build editor on uespwiki that you can slot values/gear etc into to see what might improve things. Also, use the pts, if available, to quickly make and test builds.

    Gold weapons are significant; other gear is nice to have as gold.

    Definitely. I'm in the middle of changing all of my armor traits to "divines" and all jewelry traits to "bloodthirsty." Saving up transmute crystals.

    I disagree on the suggestion to change your CP to fighting finesse as this is a parse and in content you're likely going to be behind enemies, keep backstabber. If you have extra CP get fighting finesse for the situations where you don't get to be behind enemies. Make sure you've got all your relevant passives in (skill points and CP wise). Apart from that, I'm not sure I know enough about HA builds to suggest skill changes.

    Yea, I reset my champion points too prematurely after reading that suggestion. After thinking about it, and in the middle of re-attributing my points, I realized that getting rid of backstabber (when I attack/flank from the sides and behind often) was a bad idea. Good suggestion. Thank you.

    Make sure you're using pets. And make sure you're using Daedric Prey skill to buff their damage further. Wait for it to explode before you use it again.

    When you're in the middle of channeling a heavy attack, press the skill you want to use next. This will cause it go off automatically after your heavy attack finishes.

    Turn on the setting that tells you how much time a skill has left, so you know which skill you need to press next.

    Ensure you have all passives.

    I'm a Magicka Necromancer. I don't have pets, unless you mean the undead (Blastbones and Skeletal Mage). Absolutely. I have this feature on. I know by the second when the skill is about to expire.

    Sorry, assumed it was for solo build/content. In organised group content then I defer to @Soarora 's insightful advice. I'll amend my post above to disambiguate solo.

    Also, suggest you check out pts or build editors like the uespwiki one to check stuff BEFORE spending time/mats on changing builds.

    For single target Bosses I would slot Deadly Aim, Weapons Master, Backstabber and Fighting Finesse. Everything else is just a damage loss, in my experience of HA builds. But hey, that's just me.

    The most important thing is definitely to have your rotation in order.
    I tried OakenNecro and it was one of the better, but more complicated HA builds.
    The core of every rotation is to alternate Stalking Blastbones and your HA. But the problem starts there. Blastbones is a little bit too inconsistent. You have to make it like this: HA, BB, HA, Other Ability.

    And then to include as many and as long DoTs as possible as these "other abilities".
    For single Target: Detonating Siphon, Barbed Trap, Skelletal Archer and Degeneration are good. Meteor as Ulti is best.
    In content your rotation gets "blasted" because of how inconsistent Stalking Blastbones can be.
    And this parse setup doesn't work in AoE fights.

    Well, you can always set up the trial dummy backwards so you attack the back in your parse for Backstabber. At least this used to work a couple years ago
