• NA megaservers for maintenance – January 8, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 8:00AM EST (13:00 UTC)
• EU megaservers for maintenance – January 8, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 13:00 UTC (8:00AM EST)

Isn’t EU maintenance supposed to be finished now?

        Servers are still under maintenance. Translation: we really screwed something up REALLY bad and are scrambling to find someone who can fix it because we are clueless. Thank you for your money to play and we'll get back to you when we feel like it. (Just wanted to add a note. Come Nov 20th I will have been here 10 years. Just saying this is not my first rodeo like this. I've gone thru many many of them. sigh...)

        this is why I mentioned about been compensated, usually I wouldn't be offered, but people have paid for something they're not receiving. Surely they can add a free 12 hours or a full day to apologise for the delay

        It is also in ToS, they explain that downtime is a possibility and you should not be entitled to any compensation for it.
        But it's an understandable concern still.

        EU server maintenance should have finished 20 minutes ago,but as usual NO UPDATES from ZOS on anything,noit even a reason for the extended maintenance by the looks of things.

        Looks like yet another day wasted this has been going on for nearly 11 hours with absolutely NOTHING from ZOS.

        That's not the crux of the matter.

        The crux of the matter is that having played GW2 we know how good it can be.

        I suggest you read the TOS again. Even if you pay, maintenance is included i. Your eso plus terms.

        We all remember "Yay it's back up" followed by "Sorry we messed up, servers are being taken down again" sometimes seemingly on a loop!! :D
