Bug, Chat window not fading

This issue has shown up after the last patch and still persists. It also happens after I use a wayshrine, enter a dungeon etc...
The only temporary fix has been to reload the UI, but that only last a very short time then the bug is back, it block part of the play window and is very annoying during combat.

✭✭✭✭✭if your on PC, i know there are some chat addons that prevent the window from hiding/fading
if that is not the case, maybe check the game settings? im not sure if any chat related game setting might be doing that
i always found it annoying when the chat did go away which is why i got addons to prevent that lolplays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
