Zos: increase profits massively and please players

The problem: not being able to mount in combat (combat bug has been a thing for years)

The proposal: eso++. 5 more dollars a month. You can mount IN COMBAT. If you take damage while "mounting" it will not complete.

Proposed this last night as a joke in discord voice while in cyrodiil but after hearing the number of players who said they would pay for, I realized it is worth mentioning to zos.

The extra profits from this could be used specifically to add pvp content and better pvp balance!

    I don't think something like that which would affect balance between factions should be added to a paywall. Ignoring how arcanist seems to experience the bug significantly less, therefore having that bug-relief behind a paywall already.

    I would support something like a GoFundMe for ESO PvP, and would donate to such a thing, since that seems like the only way we'd ever get any new content. Our ESO+ subs are clearly going to support PvE and Overland content, which I also enjoy the former but not as much as ESO's unique PvP system, and Overland content is just a drag without any sort of challenge (ie no hard-mode versions of overland content).

    And no, new sets do not count as new PvP content. And while the kill feed and daily reward boxes were a nice QoL addition, they are also not new content. We also desperately need better PvP rewards - I can make more gold from a 5-minute carry than I can from 6 months of 4 hours/night PvP. I would propose alchemy ingredients like columbine and cornflower being added for purchase for AP only. But even so, this needed QoL change wouldn't constitute new content.

    For new content I'm talking about things as big as a new zone on top of Cyro/IC/BGs, maybe new BG maps, maybe expanding Cyrodiil so the winners of the previous campaign can invade one of the 5 base-game zones of each of the losing factions in a new PvP instance, and have to win BOTH Cyrodiil AND those new zones to gain access to more zones in the next campaign, with exponentially increasing rewards. Maybe even something as simple as adding the legendary weapons that were coded into the game but never implemented - like Volendrung, but each faction can only have 1 at a time.

    But overall, it would be nice to just have a single ZOS employee who is as responsive as Kevin dedicated to PvP issues only, and the balance between classes and setups in PvP. While all classes can be useful in large-group play with multiple healers and cross-heals to make up for the lack of a defensive toolkit, certain classes and specs have been completely left behind with either none, or only one viable build for solo/small-scale play for ages now with the new class sets only enforcing that bias to an insane extent (looking at the value of the DK set compared to everyone else's, especially with their buffs to consuming ulti).

    Counterproposal:

    Let us mount on the toy mounts while in combat so we can at least be silly about it and have a bit of fun with it.
