People should be warned during characther creation that NB cant be fully customized

All players have been hit by the decision of making NB glow red.
I wasted time and money on my NBs but as an older player I have many other charchters with different classes so I have just stopped playing my NBs.

But what will happen to a new player that come here and create a NB, a player that maybe love customizing the appereance?
He will find out after some time that is charchter is bound with red glowing.
Maybe he wanted to create a poison themed NB and was thinking on buying someoutfit to make his weapons glow green.
Nope, you a NB, you glow red.

That will cause disaffections and resentment in new players so I really think it would be better to warn people that NB is not a fully customizable class, show from start that they will be bound with the red glow with no means to change it.

i think it's the nb ability grim focus that makes you glow red, not actually being a nb?

This thread is misleading. You are choosing to slot grim focus. You are not compelled to use this ability.
Should zos do something about the perma red glow? Yes, only at 5 stacks it should glow.
Maybe take that angle. There is no shortage of threads already talking about wanting this aspect changed. We don't need another thread on this when it is clearly based on lies.

The point is instead of using a passive aggressive title that is an overexaggeration at best, be honest and straight up.

The permaglow sucks, and ZOS should do something about it, but don't make a post that states that in the most roundabout way possible. The title is clickbait and doesn't even mention or reference the actual problem - permaglow on SpecBow.

If OP treated the issue more professionally, ZOS might take it a bit more seriously.

Making post after post after exaggerated post is not going to win friends or influence people. A calm, rational explanation that you do not care for the red glow on Grim Focus will suffice. The 10th hyperbolic post is not going to accomplish anything the first 9 did not accomplish.

You know I had a feeling that username looked familiar. In the other thread, you did mention combat, but my question was more directed at the OP and not specific to what was discussed in another thread.

well technically your staff is replaced by a spear so you aren't really stabbing with your staff

Instead of more and more threads regarding the glitched out visual effect. Glitched out permanent visual effect which is not comparable to temporary effects like the ones already mentioned in here and also conflicts with the UI and serves as the absolute opposite to the QOL the mechanical update to the spell brought along...

...I'd rather see grim focus getting fixed in the patchnotes.

Some examples people have complained about:
Taking screenshots
Changing outfits
Scrying
Doing heists
Roleplay
Decorating houses

In all of those scenarios, you can unslot the skill with 0 impact to your gameplay. It is, at its worst, a mild inconvenience.

Since overland is so famously easy, you can unslot the skill with minimal impact.

In fact, the only thing you can make a compelling argument over the need for the skill is vet pve content, and pvp.

And in the former you will have so many effects on your character that complaining about the glow is disingenuous, and in the latter, you have a point! Congrats! But, I don't think I've heard a single pvper complain about this.

It can be grim to focus on nightblades. They sometimes make me see red, too.
