It's not just sellers offering at high prices. It's buyers competing with other buyers and putting up WTB at high prices. My guess is prices will settle down. I bet some people were hoping to take advantage of being one of the first to start offering crown sales and/or assuming accounts allowed to send gifts are now the minority.

Are you guys telling me people are charging 1500g-2000g PER CROWN !?!?!?!
so 1000 crowns will cost me 2mil gold?
Am I reading that right or am I just stupid.
Please say I'm stupid

If ZOS would just charge a fair price for their stupid crowns to begin with, nobody would bother with any of this nonsense. I mean let's get real here. 14K for a single player home is absolutely ridiculous. In the Steam store, when not on sale, 14K crowns costs $99 US dollars.
Their flagship product Starfield is $69.99 US dollars.
Have people lost their minds?
Crowns should be $.10 each.

I agree. 100%. Crown Store items are just plain exorbitant, IMO. As an ESO+ subscriber, I'm content to just wait for my monthly crown allotment, save up, and occasionally spring for something useful, like an extra character slot. Even then, I 'm careful with my purchases. Paying crowns for houses is just not something I can contemplate, at the prices they've been offered.

I got so mad thinking about the prices that I lost the ability to do math. Really you should be able to buy 1000 crowns for $1 US dollar. That would make their 14K house cost $14 US dollars which would be reasonable. I guess that would make the fair price for crowns $.001 each. Wow, that really drives home how overpriced they are!
