Some Ideas/Improvements/suggestions

Permanent/stuck in combat bug fix
- It is mighty annoying and has been an issue for many years. I do not know if zenimax is working on to fix this problem but I surely hope that they do. For me the most annoying part is to be unable to change my gear mostly during dungeons. As a tank, I do like to fight against trash with different setup than what I am using against boss, this makes totally sense because they are totally different situations. We even got this armory addition to the game with armory companion you can use and it is surely meant to be used inside dungeons too while out of combat so it is intented that players would be able to change between different builds while playing some content like dungeons. I don't know how bad and hard to fix this annoyance is but how about a force command one like /reloadui. It would force you out of action and could be used after some time restriction where you did not take any action and no action were taken against you so it would not be used falsely during pvp fight or during active boss/moster fights. /removecombat. Would this be possible?

AOE taunt skill
- I know, "that is not what ESO is about". This is what people like to repeat and I know how the game is intented so that the tank takes care of the really dangerous foes while whole group must survive anything else there is but me including many others like to have the freedom to play this game as we see fit. I already usually just keep taunting everything and I get really bored fighting one moster or one moster pack at a time. I like to gather up a big group then really use all my skills and gear and tactical mind to nuke them all at once, roll dodge and block and CC while blasting them to oblivion. We can already get around this "no aoe taunt" with tormentor set+stampede or using void bash set or keep chain pulling with DK skill or fighters guild skill and there is dark convergence set too and some other ways. And if you don't get stuck with permanent combat bug you can easily have hybrid tank/damage setup with "aoe taunt" for trash and just change the setup before pulling boss. So why deny us a dedicated skill for aoe taunt. I see no point.

Dungeon+ system/ranking list
- Just like in any other mmorpg game there are normal/veteran/mythic etc. difficulty levels but on top of that many games offer a +level system which increases the dungeon difficulty making the bosses hit harder, making the trash hit harder and have bigger health pool and even adding some new mechanics and making the usual ones become deadly instead of just being harmful. Even have some additional effects going on throughout the dungeon like some additional random aoe damage or random mini bosses appearing. I know that the dlc dungeons have hard modes and newest dungeons have hard modes for every boss and that is very cool and I hope zenimax will keep introducing dungeons in that way. But most of the dungeons are so easy you can solo them on veteran difficulty just like that. Boring content for experienced players and even many of the dlc dungeons can be done with just 2 experienced people in optimized damage/solo setup. And having a ranking list like we already have for arenas and some other things would be really cool thing. A reason to go there and test yours and the groups true skills. Greater + difficulty levels could even offer higher chance for motif and style page drops, have more gold from the end boss and why not stuff like transmute crystals. I know many people would like this a lot and it would still be "suitable content for everyone". As we now get the new group finder tool, I would see this as a related addition to the game in the future.

Purely "for the looks" cloaks
Do I need to say more? I think there was something of that sort in the past but it got removed because of some graphics issue? I am not sure. But could it be possible in the near future? I know many people would love to have cloaks for their characters to complete the appearances.

Wayshrine portals inside player houses
- I have no idea how much work it would ask to make it happen but I would appreciate it a lot. I already have made cool looking fake wayshrines in my houses but how amazing would it be to have it work just like any other wayshrine in the game. It could be a glowing ball for example so you just need to build the shrine for it. And how about a unique boat furnishing you could set up if there is a water way in your house and you can add one port to where it sails. Just outbound travelling with the boat and wayshrine portal of course and from the outside of your house the teleporting will bring you to the original spawn point of the house.

Bounty hunting
- Always wanted to be a bounty hunter. Yes we have the daily quests offered in many cities that usually have some monster target you need to get rid of, but how about taking it a bit further. I don't know if such a thing could work as voluntarily world pvp thing, I know one game at least that had this kind of thing going on. But what about NPC targets. There could be rogue dark brotherhood assassins or dangerous criminals that appear randomly anywhere throughout tamriel and there could be message boards in major cities and towns declaring that there is a bounty on these criminals and who ever finds them and deliveres the justice will be rewarded. There could be a small story about what these criminals have done and tips about their possible whereabouts but nothing too clear to make it a fair contest among all those who take part in finding them. They could also appear in towns and so you need to be really careful trying to avoid the attention of the towns guards who as we know will most likely kill you if they see you taking any actions that are prohibited inside towns and so your target will escape and change the location. These bounty targets would also be much more difficult to kill than normal monsters and some could even require a group or a very dedicated player to be able to overcome them. Yes the dark brotherhood already offers a bounty hunting/killing contract but that is just sneaking and using the dagger for one shot and you know exactly where your targets are. I would like to go beyond that.

Way to hide/show class appearances
- Mainly this concerns sorcerers but could include other classes/skills too. So I really would love to have the option to either show or hide the sorcerer glowy/lightning appearance that comes with lightning form skill. Of course it makes sense that you are in lightning form and sometimes it even is a cool thing to have, but could we at least be able to tune it down a bit. I really dislike it that during fights my apperances I made and used hours to come up with some great style will vanish under this lightning form. Of course I could choose to leave this skill out of my setup but surely this is a skill worth having in almost every sorcerer setup that is worth playing. It is a great skill. And while you are doing some content you are most likely in this form all the time. So how about we could choose to leave it as it is, or to tune it down to be just a modest glow around us. We could even be able to choose a color for it.


- I could probably go on with these forever but these were the ones that have been on my mind for quite some time and I really keep hoping I would some day see some of this stuff come to ESO. I know there are many others who have had similar wishes and suggestions and hopes. And surely none of these suggestions would force anyone to take part in them if they do not like. We would not be removing anything from the game, just making some optional new features. More is always more and while most of that stuff can be found from other genre games, we know they do work. I just felt like I should finally write about this. Feel free to share your thoughts with me. Don't be hating.

    Good list of suggestions, except for the dungeon ranking system. World of warcraft has dungeon ranking/scoring system and I had a very bad experience with it. In my opinion, the dungeons in eso are already good and there is no need to have one.

    Here's a suggestion that I have to improve the dungeons-- add in a story/explorable "lore" mode as a 3rd difficulty option.

    What I do like about the suggestion is fixing of major bugs in the game. Also back items (cloaks, capes, wings) will be cool as well. The bounty hunter system does look fun. 😀

    I would love a fix for the stuck in combat bug! (So many years in PvP and so many times stuck running on foot to the next keep instead of on a horse lol)

    A new system for dungeons could be fun if they add good rewards.

    And I like the idea of a bounty hunter system. I saw someone mention a couple of months ago that they could add something like this with harder bosses (a skilled assassin from the DB to use your example) as a compromise to harder Overland. And it would be good for replayability if you add good rewards.

    Yes it is not for everyones liking, but I know for a fact that a major part of Wow players and players in other games love such ranking system and the optional +difficulty system. That is the best part of it, it is totally optional. So players who want to enjoy normal and veteran modes and ignore competitive ranking and extra difficulty levels can do so and just join random dungeon ques. And people who look for more challenges and want to enjoy a little competiton can also do so through this ranking system and +difficulty system and use the incoming new group finder tool or go with friends and guild mates. I think it is a waste of totally great extra content because everyone can choose how they wish to experience the dungeons.
