PvP is usually the content I play most, but due to this meta being what it is, and having not changed in over 2 years, it’s gone stagnant.
There haven’t been new maps for Battlegrounds, no new regions to fight in, and no new game modes to play since Morrowind.
Lately I’ve been running trials and gearing up in preparation for when PvP is exciting again, and if I finish my collections before anything new is released, it’s time to put away ESO for the foreseeable future.
Farming nodes.
Selling on guild traders.
Random dailies (depends on my mood).
Leveling alts and hunting for skyshards.
Occasional random normal dungeon.
Talking with others in guild chats.
Leveling companions and raising their rapport.
I'm obsessed with how awesome/unique the dungeons are in eso. Every day I do a lot of dungeons. Those are fun.
I also really like going on the forums too and posting stuff. The eso forums are the best online forums I've been on in my life.
I'm thankful for both the game eso and the eso forums.😊
I like exploring in the game too. If underwater swimming and the ability to swim in the ocean became a thing in eso. That would be amazing.
There is so much eso has to offer in the game that I can't decide which one I like better.
And another activity I like doing is making random kahjiit characters to form an army to take over Tamriel and eventually (if teleportation spells improve and get more powerful) Tyria (gw2 world) too.😺
Questing in overland, it's just so much fun and relaxing. My two arcanists, one already has all three alliances completed(cadwell's gold), the other is almost halfway through the second alliance. Once I am done with those two, I'll go back to my original 18 characters to get those through all alliance zones as well(cadwell's gold). I am always in overland doing many various things.
In every MMO I used to love completing dungeons, and when I started ESO I loved those here too. But with all the fake roles and speedrunners dungeons are no longer fun, and I have completely stopped doing those. (Me who loves dungeons, has stopped doing dungeons! That should be a big red flag for ZOS)
PS: 100% completed Necrom twice during this Telvanni event.
A typical day for me in ESO is (1) daily crafting writs, (2) daily Tales of Tribute, then (3) whatever strikes my fancy, usually as suggested by the endeavors for that day and week, along with any events that happen to be going on. Once I finish those, I might solo a dungeon or two, solo some world bosses, do the black sacrament or heist for the day, visit Imperial City for some PvE action (doing the daily district quests and/or fighting the mobs and smaller bosses in the sewers), or head to Cyrodiil for some PvE and PvP (capturing resources, trying to help my alliance win battles, and/or doing daily city quests). I also keep an eye on guild chat and zone chat to see if anyone is looking for help with anything I think I can actually be helpful with.
I also enjoy the zone quests, but I'm not in a hurry to finish those. I'm still only partway through High Isle on my main server (PC NA), and only just most of the way done with Craglorn on my alt server (PC EU)-- the zone storyline is completed but I'm still wrapping up all of the miscellaneous quests, dailies, and other content before moving on to the next zone (Imperial City). I'm also occasionally doing zone quests on my alts, but most of them are still in their starter zones or first zones; I think I've only got two alts (one on each server) who have completed two or more zones in their alliance storylines.
Aside from all of that, I just enjoy running around the various zones and appreciating how different they are from each other.
Cyrodiil performance has improved since the hardware update, so this is much less frustrating than before. Just those unkillable ball groups to deal with now.
The thrill of successfully taking or defending a keep, or overcoming an attacker in a melee battle, is the most exhilarating and rewarding experience in ESO. Every battle is different, unlike PvE.
PvE trials are a close second, with that being more of a team effort than the solo play I do in Cyrodiil.

I chose PVE because I'm in 2 dungeon groups and a PB prog, but I also LOVE exploring zones, doing all the little side quests, etc, so it's a narrow margin
I'd choose PvE because I do a lot of Dungeons and Bastion Nymics and World Bosses and daily Delves, but most of these aren't represented under PvE. And I don't do Trials or Arenas.
I also do a lot of Trading and Housing.
I still have a lot of overland zones and quests to complete on 3 characters but have been so tied up with other things at the moment that those are on a back burner for now. But I will definitely get back into them because I enjoy it so much.
Quest and Overland. It's the best thing about the game. Enjoying the quests, the lore, the stories. Not worrying about the meta. I used to do a lot more group content, but since I tend to play melee and stamina, I'm very limited to do certain content. Most of the group content in the game is designed for magic and ranged characters, so since it doesn't fit my play style, I stopped doing it.
I enjoyed the pvp, but cyrodiil is full of ball groups, so I stopped going too.
I prefer to go on my own to enjoy tamriel, even if AWA has ruined the regujability, it is still my main motivation to keep playing the game.
I do writs on 1-2 chars, event (if there is one I bother with), endeavours, maybe few dailies, a bit of harvesting or accumulated surveys / maps / leads or solo some easy thing and then log out.
(I think about group content after I get my wired connection. AWA killed most of questing replay value for me. Before getting into MMO genre I played PvP. It's fun but appears bit too sweaty in this game for my casual taste. After 20M+ - which is not that much - in bank I have no reason to gather more gold so I'm slacking hard with trading. [Snip].
According to this poll, neither are Trading and Role Play, yet everyone knows that those two are pretty popular.
Tales of Tribute is one of my daily must-do activities, but I didn't vote for it because I voted for "Other," since I have a number of favorite activities in the game and Tales of Tribute is only one of them. I imagine I'm not the only person who enjoys Tales of Tribute yet voted for "Other."
I particularly love homes with outdoor areas, for me its less about decorating furniture inside a building and about turning outdoors into themed scenery.
Grand Psijic Villa, outdoor inspired by DQ11 Arboria with the temple as the backdrop. I used a lot of Alinor Greenhouse as structures to cut down on building materials for shops and homes, then Khajiit tents using the Alfiq as vendors, Sereyne for example sells Liquor.
Pantherfang Chapel, I turned the courtyard into a fiery battle scenario. It looks like the Chapel and Castle are doing battle with each other with burnt corpses and damaged furnishings between them.
The Fair Winds, turning it into an Airship like the Skybreaker from WoW with a skeleton crew manning it, you know, a bunch of skeleton target dummies.
