I just finished finding M’aiq in all the locations and received the achievement, and the dye, but he isn’t available as a houseguest. Does the achievement no longer add him as one?

Afaik you have to buy him in crownstore, if you want him as houseguest. Isn't buyable all the time there tho.Never get between a cat and it's candy!1 -
