Looking for advice on how to get Crit Cap on my Arcanist [Video Clip]

Greetings, I am having difficulty reaching the crit cap on my stam dps arcanist. From what I read I believe all toons passively have 50% and the cap is 129%, but added with my current crit is about 90%. Im trying to reach crit cap without needing Backstabber or Fighting Finesse. If there are skills you feel I should swap let me know. Im also wondering if I should switch Pillar for Whorl since Pillar is about to be nerfed.

The obvious answer is Shadow mundus and become a Khajiit.
But I think you should specify, if you are willing to do that. Generally, define what what you are willing to give up for your 125% goal.
The cap is 125%, not 129%. Probably a typo...

Shadow, Khajiit, 4-5 pieces of medium, and the 12% from arcanist passives should easily get you to the cap. Be sure to include minor force + brittle in your calculations - you can apply minor brittle yourself with the Arcanist stun (although usually this would be applied by some other person in group).

You’re probably not going to reach crit cap on your own. If you’re on console, you’re probably going to have to calculate it. Organized PvE groups will have minor brittle, elemental catalyst, and major force.
Minor force is on you to get. Thief mundus is the regular for crit chance. Medium armor for crit %. Anything else is gear choice (ex. Orders wrath) or CP.

The pillar nerf isn’t looking like it’ll be a big deal, you can keep pillar.
