List something silly, weird, or plain stupid that happened while doing a dungeon in eso. This can be either and both veteran and normal difficulty dungeons.

Like there was this one time when in this one dungeon "forgot the name" I didn't see that there was a big hole in the middle of the path and my group was speed running. I was doing it with them. I and one other person fell into the hole. The healer and tank were waiting for me and the other dps to arrive to the boss room. Finally minutes later I and the other dps arrived and the group leader (who was the tank) asked "why?".

Now what's yours?

I was running Shipwright's Regret (I think it was) with some fellow guild members right after it had been released, and there's a place with several piers or boardwalks that you need to navigate. I was running to keep up with the group and fell through a hole in one of the boardwalks into the water below. I was swimming around trying to find a way back up, and finally found a ramp leading out of the water. After I got back up to the boardwalk, I fell through the same hole again. Before I could find the ramp to get out of the water, I got teleported into the boss encounter.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

Roll dodged off of the platform on the last boss of Scrivener's Hall to avoid an AOE that would have never killed me.

COA II, the last bridge over lava, saw someone mount up and yeet right over the cliff too early. Laugh out loud moment.

Mazzatun... tank that didn't know the Xal-Nur mechanic but of course kept picking up the poison, AND ignored chats telling them to get in the geyser. All three of us were just idling in the pool going "GO TO WATER" while they held the boss in the middle. I can only assume they didn't speak English or something. Eventually they dropped the poison and I managed to grab it. Luckily the rest of the group laughed it off.

Spindleclutch 2, after killing second last boss, the pug says TY for run and leaves thought the door.
Happy he thanked as we could tell him he missed last boss.
    He felt stupid.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Triggered some nostalgia with that one. Didn't see that happen for a few years now myself. But it's a classic. :D

Another classic fail happened myself during the last undaunted event. One day we decided to do a few achievement runs for newer players in one of my guilds. When we did vCoH 2 everyone managed to dodge correctly at Mezeluth, so the uncharted "trifecta" was already a sure thing to happen one would assume. Then, during the fight against Nerien'eth, I explained HM mechanics (hold back dmg till 4 ghosts are present) while burning poor Nerien'eth at his spawnspot. Poor guy literally ran after his sword, while I referred about him porting around for spawning ghosts. Not exactly my brightest moment...

Well, after a good laugh at my cost (well-deserved, I know) we did a quick second run and it was done.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.
