Antiquity leads from maps not dropping?

As of Monday, I have dug up over 30 of the Necrom chapter's treasure maps without a single lead dropping. I'm starting to think it's more than bad RNG at this point, because the day beforeId been getting leads every 2-4 maps.

Anyone else having this issue?

i opened 40 before i got one of the leads --- then got another lead on the next one --- and have opened like 30 since but havent gotten the last lead.

Whereas I'm getting (mostly) gold leads on both accounts from nearly all sources except those maps (since I haven't used any yet)!

I got leads with all of my first 6 or 7 maps, then nothing at all after that. Not sure how many it's been tho.

The last lead I got was the stained glass window one, and I just left it sat in my scrying list because I have a few anyway. I wondered if having one of the leads that drop from maps active was stopping others from dropping, but every time it expires I pick up another from somewhere so haven't been able to test

Really wish we could delete unwanted leads without the hassle of digging them up first tho

Antiquity leads from maps need to be MUCH MORE COMMON ACROSS THE BOARD.

Tbh, not even going to do these until they fix this. Treasure map leads are NOT dropping. Seriously, the drop rate needs to be MUCH much higher. 50% would be about the minimum acceptable rate, considering how many have to come from maps this patch.

I pulled 20+ leads before getting the last lead for the Apocryphal Well or the Fossilized Arch. I don't understand how or why it's possible to pull 10 of the same lead over and over and over again, while just getting shafted out of the lead that you actually need. Leads legit need to be curated and once the Codex is complete they can be randomized. We don't need any more grinds in ESO.

Treasure map leads should be guaranteed. The maps themselves are very rare, as the odds of getting a Necrom one from a normal drop is around 1% or less. I'm just glad people are having better luck than me with maps dropping from event coffers; I must've opened nearly 100 and got a single map, no leads within.

I don't find myself desperate enough for *anything* that I'm willing to put up with the level of RNG involved with treasure map-only leads.

I have enough useless frustration IRL... ;-)

Let ZOS farm their leads on their own and they will surely adapt the leads. I doubt half the developers even know how bad the RNG really is.

If I could open console and type "player.additem #" I'd find these leads perfectly reasonable...

The well leads seem 'bugged' still.

54 maps, not a single one of the three leads required.

I do think I might be getting leads from the chests though, I just don't see them because I have taken to not digging out the stained window anymore.

I've already dug out 27 of them, I'm OK for windows for the time being.

Also, I think this lead should be removed from the pool in treasure map chests. Is common enough from all other sources.

in my humble experience the drop rate is 1:40 .. 1:50
i used 54 Galen 1 maps for one of skin leads drop, some of my friends also name like 60 attempts.
unfortunately game-makers decided to put even more leads behind Treasure maps in Necrom Chapter
also music box lead from ToT rewards container has even worse drpp rate.
This stay-in-game-forever decision makes me to lose interest in obtaining hard-to-get leads, as there are patience limits, and my limits are exhausted already.

Nice atleast its the only one i am not certain of. All other leads you can max out codex Just this one i am stikk at 3/9 thats why I wonder

this event has netted me the well, the book, and numerous fossils. map leads do be dropping.

30 maps? thats all? i spent over 50mill to be able to buy the wells from the achievement vendor

I think Ive opened around 50 maps and just now gotten at least one of all the Necrom antiquity leads. I can't imagine how long it would take for me to actually finish the codex for the well. One is enough I guess..

the rng on map leads is really bad

usually my luck is roughly 1 in 10 maps giving me a lead, but i rarely get the right maps in the first place

sometimes i get bad luck on the other RNG aspects, such as wrong leads

I'm also stuck on 3/9 leads and I spent 40+ Mil console-gold (equals 150M+ PC-gold as comparison) on further treasure maps without a single lead. Codex 4-9 must be bugged at this point. I'm so sick of the antiquity system nowdays. Does ZOS really want us to spend more gold on a single furnishing item than most players will earn in their lifetime? Antiquity-system is beyond broken at this point

Really don't see that's the appropriate place for this. Nobody's asking for help, just opinions - there's no solution to this that the community can help with

I have gotten gold leads from nearly every map I've dug up since the event started. Think I've done around 15-20 leads in Necrom in the past week.

It's just rng.

All the other necrom and Telvanni leads are working just fine, its only the Apocryphal Well leads that are buggy. I literally burned through hundreds of maps without a single lead after 3/9 codex. It is impossible that this could somehow still be "in the odds" of rng.

Also done the same as chem. And well is stuck at 3/9 have every other codex. So no i do no think its Just rng

Ithink this might be more of an issue with 2nd and 3rd codex entries or atleast thats what it seems like. I got all 3 for the first well in about 20 maps give or take.

That is my experience as well.

I completed the first well with nothing that stood out like too 'lucky' or too 'unlucky' but the moment I completed the antiquity the leads completely dried out.

I got plenty of stained window leads from the chests - to the point that I stopped digging them out altogether - and a few of the fossil ones but not a single well lead.

I have stopped now because even though map prices did predictably drop due to the event it feels like just throwing the gold down a well (pun maybe intended).
