Could Velothi Ur-Mage's Amulet Light attack dmg be reduced to 90%?

I understand the mythic is amazing on arcanists's, but for us light attack weavers it is awfull that we do no dmg. At least being able to do slightly some dmg even if it's just 10% would reward a bit light attack weaving. While keeping the mythic the same for everyone.

What would be your suggestion for where power is reduced to counteract the increase in power from light attack weaving. I guess as its specific about Velothis, it would have to have the power of the amulet reduced slightly

honestly the dmg diference wouldn't really matter. Item is bis in arcanist and it won't matter there. (sorce and dk will still out dps arcanist)
AS for other classes... doubt it will matter that much either since the mythic is used for weaker add monsters.

I just don't enjoy doing zero dmg on light attacks when i attack monsters.

And if we are being honest here. the whole mythic is those 15% monster dmg. the pen is useless on trials and the minor force is useless because barbed trap is really strong.

I mean, say your light attacks do 4000 dmg, You will gain 400 dmg per light attack. Do you really think it will make a difference worth nerfing the 15% monster dmg?

Why don't you just use another mythic? Kilt and/or Mora's whispers are both stronger if you're light attack weaving regularly.

I'll try mora, i don't have eso plus though. do i need dungeons for it? if so do you have clue when eso plus will be free?

also, it seems you are a good player, could you tell me if id gain more using full selene vs slimecraw+mora aka 15% crit chance

You need access to Imperial City Prison and Deadlands, mostly. Link

I found the Bloodshot Oculus to be a lot easier to farm in the Cauldron than alternative locations.

The beam is what gives the amulet its power as most of the damage is crit damage. So you are trading a substantial source of damage (Light Attacks) for a larger replacement with the beam.

You'd have to find a class and a build that operates the same way. The HA Sorc is a good example, but that's only because the Oakensoul Ring makes it so. Maybe Templars, but the Kilt or Mora's are better as its so easy to LA weave on a Templar

    PC NA (Tank/DPS) - [PVE]
    Started ESO - Oct 2020

    Necro Main
Tank main from 300cp - 1200cp at which point I switched to DPS - I was 100k on every class except werewolf. I cleared 115k on necro, but I am completely done with parsing. My hands won't let me anymore. Lucky there is still heavy attack and arcanist options available. Otherwise I would possibly have to give up eso entirely.

    [My toons]
Note: Armory slots are separated by "|" below.
    • (Libitina Khalida) Dark Elf Necromancer: Off Tank | EC DPS
    • (Fresh Gator Meat) Argonian Dragonknight: Main Tank | ZK DPS
    • (Electro-Meowster) Khajiit Sorcerer: HA Solo | MK DPS
    • (Blood of Death) Dark Elf Nightblade: SPC/PA Healer
    • (Arctic Mist) Dark Elf Warden: ROJO Healer
    • (Affah Beta Gamma) Breton Templar: Mag DPS.
    • (autocookies) Imperial Arcanist: Stam DPS
    • (Aeriegil Forestbranch) Wood Elf Warden: PVP
    Thank you,

You’re missing the entire point of this item. It exists in the game for players that have issues weaving and/or connection issues. If you don’t have these issues, you don’t use it.

I mean its used in non standard comps by some higher end players. Its also very good on templars. weaving is still important specifically on temps so you get a break in between skills/arent skill spamming otherwise you run out of resources. Less of an issue for arcs in parse. In content though its a bit different on the higher levels.
