it would be a real bonus if eso+ had unlimited transmute storage, the double cap is not even remotely a bonus nor a reason people sub (the craft bag and maybe DLC access is the primary draw)

You cannot sell transmuted items themselves.
If you mean to an NPC, then that’s not selling the crystals. It’s wasting them, and you might as well save yourself the time (and not mislead forum readers who are not familiar with the system) by just clicking destroy on the geodes instead.
