The Order of the Lamp, sometimes called the "Lamp Knights," is an order of knights that acts as the protectors of the Mages Guild. The Order was originally implemented to guard the guild in dangerous territories.
During the Alliance War, the order serves the following primary purposes:
In practice, this means we are a light role-playing PVE and PVP guild, who operate out of the Ebonheart Pact. We will be running quests and dungeons in groups. We will also be working together to facilitate crafting and trading, primarily in runes, glyphs and enchanted gear. We are casual to hard-core gamers who want to have good friends to play with, and we cultivate a relaxed attitude. We do like to role-play a bit, so we will not accept griefers, kids under 17, or applicants who have goofy names.

- Cultivate the art of forging magic weapons and armor
- Re-establish the preeminence of the Mages Guild in the contested province of Cyrodil.
