HA or LA on lighting staves sometimes has no animation - it's been a while!

This bug is getting out of hand recently and lasts several BG matches (at least one) until it fixes itself eventually.
As the title says, the HA or LA animation of lighting staves is not shown. The effects are there, but nothing indicates that it's working. The result is that I'm not sure I'm attacking anyone so I either quit and use other skills or hope for the best.
