Allow Companions to have a limited inventory with lockable items.

Dear ZOS, may we please have a limited inventory for our companions? Say 10 or 20 slots per companion. Just so they can carry a gear swap.

Also, might it be possible to allow the 'lock' feature to be extended to companion items? I have no idea why this wasn't implemented at the launch of the Blackwood Chapter as a standard protection for companion gear items in line with player gear items.

Ta very much ;)

    Ooo, I do like this idea. Inventory management can get rough the longer you play, and this could be a way to combat it somewhat.

    Personally I don't like the inventory aspect of the game. For a while I played shadow of Mordor where there is no inventory.it was awesome. Maybe there could be a setting where you can choose how you want the companion to upgrade eg health/damage so the companion will carry their stuff and automatically choose the best gear to wear so I don't have to choose or even delve into their inventory

    I agree on this. Plus, every Bethesda game that's possible!

    companion gear also needs to be able to be marked as junk, i can understand we cant decon it, but we can sell it to merchants and being able to mark as junk would certainly help organizing the clutter of companion gear drops to bulk sell it

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    feel free to stop by and use the facilities

    Just make it so they can carry their own junk. Its a companion, not a baby. I shouldn't have to carry changes of clothes for them. Under the current setup, I am THEIR companion.

    I agree with OP very much. My characters all use the same companion (Mirri) and we can readily swap her from tank to dps with skill changes and just a few gear changes. The problem is remembering which alt has which gear from the last time we changed Mirri because we forgot to return it to the bank. Letting companions carry a few pieces of spare companion gear would be most helpful.

    And yes, companion gear should absolutely be lockable so it doesn't accidently get sold.

    Good idea. Additionally I would like a companion section in the existing Armory Station to make switching companion roles easier.

    All of this. Yes please. This would be an amazing quality of life feature. I'm tired of checking and re-checking my companion gear to make sure I haven't accidentally sold anything x.x;

    Give us enough space on them to have them each carry 3 sets- 1 for tanking, 1 for DPS, 1 for healing
