Lost Event Tickets due to not looting boss in first dungeon of the day

I seem to recall that there was mention of a change where if you missed out on event tickets because you failed to loot the final dungeon boss there was a way to get the tickets. I have not been able to find that reference.

I ran a second dungeon in the hope that I could get the event tickets and gold box when looting the final boss. Just ended up getting a purple box.

Am I remembering wrong or is there I way I can get the missed tickets?

Update:
I got the tickets:
- I logged off of all four accounts
- I logged into different characters on the accounts that lost the tickets
- I ran another dungeon
- When I looted the final boss, I received the event tickets

Not sure what aspect allowed me to get the tickets:
- Logging out of the game and back in
- Waiting a certain amount of time
- Using different characters from the 3 accounts that didn't get the tickets

Okay, I found the reference in the Patch notes PC/Mac Patch Notes v9.1.5 [Update 39].

Under the section 'Update to Event Tickets', specifically:

"If you fail to loot your Event Tickets at all (because you forgot, because you crashed, or because an asteroid hit your hometown and you managed to survive but lost internet) you will not automatically be put on the daily reset. You may attempt additional dungeons, kill bosses, or whatever the event-appropriate activity is until you completely loot your Event Tickets for that day."

Since I ran another dungeon and looted the final boss with no tickets being received, it seems like this new feature is not working as designed or my interpretation of the above is not correct.

I will submit a ticket.

To clarify, I had run 4 accts through a dungeon and only looted the final boss on 1 of the four accts, so the 3 other accts did not get any tickets after running a subsequent dungeon and looted that final boss.

I had the same issue Sep 14 on PC NA.
Lost tickets due to disconnect. The next dungeon gave me only purple box.
Left the bug report.

Thank you for info about being able to get tickets with relogin/waiting! I'll try it if that happen next time.
