I get this prompt whenever I try to change my USER ID. "Error: Valid UserID Required" No matter what I type, it'll come up with this error. Even if it's one I know for sure is available and fits all criteria. Is there a issue currently going on with it? or just me?

Hi everyone,
As we're heading into the weekend, we wanted to update you on the login issues that have been ongoing since yesterday. To keep everyone in the loop, these issues were caused by some external traffic hitting our service that is completely unrelated to user load or anything to do with our recent launch on the Epic Games Store. This is currently impacting all mega servers and affects being able to log into the game as well as making account changes.
We recently deployed a fix and will assess how well this addresses the situation; we'll make further changes if necessary and we will keep you posted.
