Hello!
I find myself recently missing some of the unique mechanics of ESO, and am considering a return. But before I embark on installing what I assume is now a 150GB+ game, I wanted to get some opinion from the terminally online denizens of the forum.
So, what are peoples opinions of the current state of the game, especially for someone like me?
- Last time I played "fo reals" was in Summerset Isles. I ran a little bit of nSS and barely touched Greymoore (definitely no trails). What are the major changes, how is the community, what big things have changed in the overall landscape beyond new lands, mythics and new trails?
- I like to homebrew all my builds, make generic builds that can pull their own in vet trails, tank+dps in random dailies, and crush in BGs. Every one of my characters (listed in my sig) where unique homebrew builds that where godly powerful in almost all content - what is build diversity like these days? There will always be cookie cutter meta builds, but is there still plenty of space for 90-95% parse builds to be far more diverse? Last I saw with CP2.0 basically everyone could be an everything build, and with the rampup of hybrid builds I rather worried every build would become bland and mostly identical, using the same spread of mechanics to all be "everything" builds.
- I like my vet trail content but havent done it in years. Is the vet trails scene healthy? The *vast* majority of players last I played where completely ill equiped to do anything beyond craglorn - is this still the case or are more people now capable of pushing the end game?
- As you can probably see, I have several fully geared characters across both mega servers - what are the main differences on each server atm? Is there still massive price disparities, differences in skill level?
Thanks for any input.
