+ Weapon & Spell Damage (explanation please)

Something I keep seeing on sets, Mundus Stones, and Champion Point perks is "Weapon and Spell Damage". In the Rejuvenator part of Warfare under CP builds is that it adds "Weapon and Spell Damage to your healing abilities" which I assume is self-explanatory that adds to your healing skills/spells that much to "weapon & spell damage" as well adding it directly to your weapon & spell damage too. I guess my question is, are these "Weapon and Spell Damage" increases for your light/heavy attacks, your spells (like a Necro's flame/venom/ricochet skull, Templar's piercing/aurora/binding javelin, or NB's strife/funnel health/swallow soul), direct healing spells (restoration staff's panacea, grand healing, regeneration, etc), or all/part of the above? I just want to know what "weapon and spell damage" increases and if it is possible to double dip for healing spells if a build picks up the Rejuvenator perk under the CP build.

im fairly certain that in order for it to apply, the skill has to have some kind of healing component

what im not certain of is if the buff applies to all aspects of the skill or only the healing component, ive never tested that in depth

it just says "weapon and spell dmg" because heals and dmg scale off weapon and spell dmg stat, so its scaling the magnitude of the healing by a bit

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

OK but part of what I'm asking is also if the "weapon and spell damage" listing is it increases for your light/heavy attacks, your spells (like a Necro's flame/venom/ricochet skull, Templar's piercing/aurora/binding javelin, or NB's strife/funnel health/swallow soul), or both light/heavy attacks AND spells like the ones I listed. The terminology is confusing to me.

the slottable that is "increases weapon and spell dmg" affects everything (light/heavy attacks, and all useable skills)

the other 2 that specify either "damaging abilities" or "healing abilities" i would guess only work with skills, i dont know if light/heavy is considered a "damaging ability" since your not actually casting a skill in that case but a core combat ability

WD/SD (Weapon/Spell Damage) increases everything. Damage from skills, Light and Heavy attacks and Healing. The only diffrence is if it says "for your healing/damage abilities" then it affects only those. And Light attacks count as damage ability.
There is a cap on damage for Light Attack but i dont rly remember how high is the cap.

Weapon and Spell damage increases the tooltip of all skills unless:

    1) It explicitly states that it scales off of something else (Health/Resistance)

    2) Its a damage shield. Damage shields scale off your highest max stat (i.e., max mag or stam) and are capped at a % of your health.

Weapon and spell damage will also increase the damage of light/heavy attacks (with a cap to how much they can scale), as well as most proc sets (it will explicitly state if it scales off of something else).

No. I am with @Necrotech_Master in this one. Light/ Heavy Attacks are not abilities. They are combat actions, like block, roll dodge, etc. They get calculated differently.

The CP stars in question are only affecting the mentioned abilities, not combat actions. That goes for the Restoration Staff heavy attack heal, as well.

I mean, proof me wrong, but it has been like this since I started playing.

If anyone here says: OH! But, PVP! I swear I'll ...

Thank you for the valuable input and respectfully recommend to discuss that aspect of ESO on the PVP forum.

U know, it would be faster if u would just check this on any enemy? i wont post screenshoot because i doubt it will count as a "proof" but i will post numbers:
    - 3151 damage from LA without Wrathful Strikes (205 WD/SD to Damaging Abilities)
    - 3254 damage from LA with Wrtathful Strikes

Sorry, but you have to slap basic dummy or few mobs to test it if u dont trust me.
