stacks can be from multiple sources
    for EG: in a 1vX (lets say 3 ppl B,C & D)
    players B C D put down AOE
player A is affected by Azure from player C and cleanses
players B & D still have AOE down azure is reapplied from B
    player A cleanses again
players C & D re apply AOE and Azure proc's once again

rinse and repeat this is why it seems you can not cleanse it
in an XvX situation these variables multiply..........in essance Azure has a virtual 100% up time in a group setting regardless of number of enemies so long as more than 2 are running it

edited for clarification (although i could be wrong)

Thanks for taking the time to post @Alienoutlaw !

When I tested with a buddy, it was just the two of us. I would purge spam, and it was unable to be removed. I could have no other debuffs on me, and yet the Blightseed stacks still had to expire, and would not be purged.

It is 100% possible I am missing something regarding application, but after we reviewed things, it still appears that the stacks are not able to be purged.

I think you might be right. They only fall off as the purge spam stops DOTs so that it can tine out.

Way expensive to purge like that outside of Necro health cost one. Wardens 1 at a time just won't keep up

Agree. I mean- i think it just needs a nerf. In pve its even more awesome now (saying this from a pve endgame perspective) but its way too strong for pvp. The stacking is insane rn..

This set does not need a nerf - it just needs to be fixed, as it is terribly bugged. There is only supposed to be one stack per target, from one player in Azure. What is happening is that the stack does get credited to one player, but every player in Azure contributes to that stack on a single target. The stack is then randomly credited to one of the Azure players who put a dot on the target.

I tested this with my partner. She got to 20x stacks three times in a row and got no credit for the explosions. I got no credit for a stack, even though I was using plenty of dots, since she already had credit for the stack, but the explosion damage was credited to me three times. From the first explosion to the third took 3.7 seconds, and 40 dot ticks in that time is impossible for one of us alone to achieve (templar and dk).

This is why stacking Azure players is now highly effective in PvE when it should hurt efficiency to use more than one.

Maybe not surprising this thread just slips away as there just really isn't any buzz for ESO PVP lately. Really not much for ESO on general with a mostly bug fix update that didn't really even fix the most annoying bugs, and new hyped games that came out

But still; I can confirm this us not getting purged. Only the DOTs that stack it get purged. And with everyone that where's the set adding to the stack; there's just masses of players just spamming DOTs making your stacks hit peak nearly instantly.
