Soul Magic needs a rework! (Here’s how)

So the Soul Magic skill line needs some updating. I mean if Vampire and Werewolf can get reworked why not this?
Here ya go ZoS I did the work for you.

Ultimate:
Soul Focus - unleash a beam of energy from the palm of your hand that deals X Magic damage every 0.3s for 3s. This scales of your highest weapon or spell damage.
Morph: Soul Bomb - Imbue your enemy’s soul with a bomb that explodes after 3s for X Magic Damage.
Morph: Soul Infusion - the power of this morph is increased by 10% for every 100 filled Soul Gems in your inventory up to a max of 50%.

Skills:
Soul Trap - No change
Morph: Consuming Trap- No change
Morph: Soul Splitting Trap - Deals more damage and can affect up to 5 enemies

Soul Weapon - Consume a filled Soul Gem to allow your Light and Heavy Attacks an additional X damage for 1min.
Morph: Soul Crush - Now also affects Class Abilities.
Morph: Soul Obliteration - Now only affects Class and Weapon Abilities

Passives:
Soul Shatter - When Health is below 50% consume a Soul Gem and explode for X/Y/Z damage. This can occur once every 10s.
Soul Prayer - Upon death, you have a X/Y/Z chance to drop a filled Soul Gem from your inventory. A teammate can pick up the gem to automatically revive you. This can occur once every 1min.
Soul Charge - once a day, when you charge a weapon, you gain Minor Berserk for 4 hours.

    Burns unit! Radiating regen can't deal with this

    I'm not sure how I feel about the specific ideas in the OP (mostly the soul weapon skill and soul prayer) but I definitely think the soul line could do with a rework. Even soul trap IMO I think is a waste to leave as is.

    I like the part of soul weapon of using soul gems for something, but I'm not sure about the buffing thing. I'm unsure about soul prayer mostly since I don't know how I feel about messing with resurrect mechanics.

    But yeah I like skill lines in general because of their availability to all classes. I really wish arcanist had been several skill lines, even. So I'd be happy to see a revitalizing of existing ones.

    Here awhile back I was curious about how much Soul Magic could do damage. I slotted a soul magic skill (Soul Splitting Trap) and the Oblivion Set, I poured as much CP`s into the build the most damage and was really disappointed at the results. I don`t know if ESO/ZOS will go along with most of those suggestions but the skill line REALLY needs to be reworked.

    WW has never really been reworked, just continually nerfed lol

    i do think the soul magic line could be added to, i think the existing items are fine as is, but there should be a little expansion like some additional skills, just flesh it out a little more

    Considering that leveling Soul Magic to max is the most time-consuming of all the skill lines, I think it's just fine to leave it useless ;)

    The soul line could be turned into a full skill line, rather than a mini skill line maybe. Dunno about these changes per se, but I'm not opposed to them.

    More ways to spend soul gems is good. I do not die that much in solo PVE, and do not have to recharge my weapons very often so I have like 400 soul gems. I would have more if it weren't for the fact that I usually sell any over 200.

    A way to get self cast Msorc/Brut for a soul gem would be a great addition to the soul magic skill line, since all other skills that allow that are class skills or tied to 2 handed. It could be long duration (40 seconds+) to account for the consumable cost, or provide additional potent effects (lets start giving everyone major force all the time) . One morph could do damage in an aoe if you die under its effect, and the other could do the same thing but with healing.

    Also, maybe another crafting skill line that uses them. I'm thinking procs that you design and apply to a weapon instead of an enchantment. These procs would fire once before having to be recharged by a soul gem. Like poisons, but magic and guaranteed to fire on an attack. Would probably be doodie for anything that isn't ganking.
