Vampires Bane in PvP

Hiya,

I think I got this but want to verify (and trust(

Blast an enemy with a charge of radiant heat, dealing 1161 Flame Damage, and an additional 5370 Flame Damage over 30 seconds. Upon activation you gain Major Savagery and Major Prophecy for 30 seconds, increasing your Weapon and Spell Critical rating by 2629.

Does this only affect the target (the crit rating) or anyone else I hit while it is flame damaging the target?

Ie. does my crit rating go up for all targets I attack?

And if so, what minor crit increae should I use with it on a Templar?

Once you use this ability, you gain critical chance increased on yourself for 30 seconds, so it means all your skills receive this buff including your healing as well not just damage abilities. So yes crit rating go up for all targets you attack.

I think this is the skill that keeps me combat bugged most often, so I stopped using it.

the dot lasts for 30 sec, which means you have to wait till the target either dies, purges, or the effect runs out before you get taken out of combat

thats at least 30 sec, and if you use it on other people, then it just carries over and overlaps

probably one of the reasons "in combat" gets stuck is when you are too far away from a target for it to track (there are times i hit someone with a 20 sec dot, die then i respawn far from the fight, but i still see my combat log ticking dmg, but it doesnt show a target name)

Would be interesting if there were abilities labeled this way that targeted Vampires, Werewolves and Daedra with elevated damage (PvP and PvE).
