Easy build- Magicka Sorcerer- I need help

kubuspu3hatek
Hello. I'm trying to make a simple build for Magicka Sorcerer with the best possible DPS, mainly for PVE (and dungeons).

I can do it like this:
Mother's Sorrow + Diamond's Victory or Order's Wrath or New Moon Acolyte + Slimecraw or Kra'gh + Oakensoul Ring

What will be the best way? I don't use pet skills on the bar, but the following skills:
Critical Surge, Unstable Wall Of Elements, Hardened Ward, Elemental Susceptibility, Bound Aegis and Elemental Rage (Ultimate ability-change or leave?)

I will gladly listen to all the advice of more experienced players and try to implement them.

I would also like to ask about:
Harpooner's Wading Kilt - is it worth getting interested in and implementing it in the build? If so, in return for what?
What would be the best food buff?

Diamond's Victory or Order's Wrath or New Moon Acolyte
Order's Wrath will help raise your critical hit damage for a mag build.
    Slimecraw or Kra'gh
Slimecraw, but only one-piece. you already get Minor Berserk with Oakensoul, and you can't run a monster set and a mythic without compromising your two 5-piece sets (i mean, there are certain gear setups that could utilize both but we're trying to keep it simple, right? ;) )
    (Ultimate ability-change or leave?)
Elemental Rage isn't bad but I recommend checking out Summon Storm Atronach as it can grant your group Major Berserk, a strong damage buff.

someone more versed with Sorcerer than me can probably recommend a morph
Harpooner's Wading Kilt - is it worth getting interested in and implementing it in the build? If so, in return for what?
Harpooner's Wading Kilt is also not bad (you won't have to use Order's Wrath with it) but proc damage monster sets can outperform the potential benefits of it in optimal conditions, plus in actual content you may be receiving pot shots from trash mobs and be unable to keep stacks up. Oakensoul is strictly personal preference; it's great if you're not a fan of bar-swapping, but you may be receiving the vast majority of its buffs from other sources, such as your healers.
What would be the best food buff?
Ghastly Eye Bowl or similar mag/mag recovery food. if you're dying a lot or doing harder content use Clockwork Citrus Filet instead.

None of them are good, IF you want to make this:
Hello. I'm trying to make a simple build for Magicka Sorcerer with the best possible DPS, mainly for PVE (and dungeons).
As you are using Oakensoul Ring and have no spammable ability slotted, I guess you are trying to make a Heavy Attack build? Is that right?
Well, then you will need Heavy Attack sets ... Sergeant's Mail and Noble Duellist are the best combination in my opinion.

As for your choice of abilities, drop Crit Surge. It will not proc nearly as often as you'd like, because you have only one ability and your Heavy/Light attacks, that can proc it.
And IF you are not going for a heavy attacks build you should find yourself a decent spammable and more DoTs. I recommend getting comfortable with weaving crystal shards. It does the most on the MagSorc. Even if it is awkward at first.

Just saying, you currently have 4 support abilities and only two damaging ones, one of them is the ultimate.

This is the build, with which I soloed the Arcanist Apocrypha World Boss just yesterday.

Hello, I'm sorry that I'll reply after a few days, but I've been very busy lately. Will changing to such skills be a good change?:
Critical Wave - Unstable Elemental Wall - Crystal Fragments - Degeneration. There is one more skill to choose from and ultimate skill. What should I choose yet (one skill yet and ultimate)

As for the set I am thinking about Storm Master, because i want to use only light and medium armor.
What's the best and fastest way to get it? Finish the dungeon over and over again on the normal level and finally upgrade the set to the epic level, or looking for vet dungeon groups?

Well, Sergeants Mail is without question the best Heavy attack set. I wouldn't miss out on that...
Storm Master looks good on paper, but will not help with penetrating enemy armor. And since the nerf its uptime struggles to reach 80% and more. Plus, its HA attack bonus is ~30% less than that of Noble Duelist and only ~40% that of Sergeant's Mail.

Besides, one piece of heavy armor in the chest slot us a lot of armor value (and with it damage mitigation). That really helps with survivability.

I sincerely recommend farming Normal Dungeons until you reach a satisfiable number in your sticker book. Then reconstruct your gear and upgrade to gold as much as you can afford.
Until then, you can wear the blue colour gear, except the weapon.
Weapons need to be gold, always.

As to abilities, have two support abilities and three damage abilities plus the Storm Attro Ulti, until you get along with one support.
Hardened Ward, Crit Surge, Bound Aegis are all good choices. You need to get a feeling for what works best with your playstyle.
Unstable Wall and Razor Caltrops are key for damage. Use Elemental Susceptibility until you get Caltrops.
And lastly I always recommend Crystal Weapon. But that is controversial.
If you use Undaunted Infiltrator, this ability can proc it easily.

I wouldn't go storm master these days, i would look at deadly strikes (pvp boxes or you can buy from guild traders), noble duelist if you will be in melee range or infallible aether.

Skill wise I would maybe choose an emergency immediate heal skill and ulti I would go atro or meteor

Hello, I finally organized the skills appropriately for myself
    Critical Surge- for damage buff
    Bound Aegis-for max magicka
    Lightning Splash- for AoE
Unstable Wall Of Elements - for Aoe
Crystal Fragments - for single target
    Meteor -ultimate skill

Now I'm finishing my build. I already have practically everything I need from the Sergeant's Mail set (it was easier than I thought). Now I don't know what to combine it with. I have a set:
Mother's Sorrow -adds magicka and critical chance
Order's Wrath - adds critical chance, weapon and spell damage
New Moon Acolyte - adds critical chance, weapon and spell damage, offensive penetration
I also have Diamond's Victory, but it is probably much weaker?

While looking through the set list I found this:
Spider Cultist, Caluurion's Legacy, Grave Inevitability, Storm Master (however it was also written above that he is not the best choice)
What do you recommend to choose? The most frequently recommended combination with Sergeant's Mail is Noble Duelist's, but from the description it gives much less attack bonuses

I will use this with Oakensoul Ring and Slimecraw helm.

Go with orders wrath or noble duelist, yes you will need to stand next to your target to use noble duelist effectively but it is still decent.

If you just want easy, then orders wrath is more than fine as the secondary set.

Similar to my HA oakensorc. Sergeantsx5, Mother's Sorrowx5, Oakensoul, Slimecrawx1. Thief mundus and Sharpened lightning staff.

-Vigor. Heals both sorc and tank companion. That it uses stam is nice to spread resource use. No need for crit surge buffs with Oakensoul.
-Razor Caltrops or Elemental Drain for major breach.
    -Lightning Splash for good AoE.
    -Wall for good AoE.
-Bound Aegis for more magicka and minor resolve (which Oakensoul does not give).
-Ultimate is the FG ult for the +damage passive. Slot Strategic Reserve from the red CP tree so basically never cast the ultimate in favor of having a continuous passive big HoT.

5 body pieces of Noble Duelist can be acquired within 3 to 4 runs of the dungeon. And Blessed Crucible is the pledge today! So a lot of players will want to run it.

It's the best option to pair with Sergeant's Mail. I cannot stress that enough.
