Going into this game I was expecting a smoother combat experience. NPC enemies don't really telegraph their attacks outside of AoE abilities (with the exception of some larger foes) which really annoyed me
Right now combat feels very floaty, especially in PvP (please nerf nightblade) where it's nothing but ability spamming to see who can either deal the highest amount of damage in the shortest amount of time or just tank through 20 people by themselves with healing and crowd control spam
Homing arrows, constant animation cancelling and bluetooth melee attacks are also a contributing factor I'd say
I have some specific examples that I think would help solve this issue
-More combos for heavy/light attacks with different charge times
-The size of the melee weapon determining how much range it has
-Melee hits being registered depending on who the weapon hits instead of who the crosshair was aiming at
-Bow projectiles having infinite range as long as they dont collide with anything and needing to be actually aimed instead of being heat seeking missiles
