Map broken in Clockwork City?

Have other folks noticed that the map is broken in Clockwork city. A couple of hours ago another person agreed when I mentioned this is zone chat. Have we started a thread. I'm trying to quest in Clockwork City and it's annoying to not have a map. Sometimes I can coax it back to working for a little while and then it goes on the blink again.

    I was just there digging up an antiquity; no problems at all. What platform and server are you on?

    PC NA - Personal computer North American Server. I'm assuming that's what you're asking. Does it make a diff? Nobody else seeing this?
    At least two of us were a couple of hours ago and like I said I'm seeing it the Brass Fortress. Finally started working again so I could remember the name of the city.

    was just in clockwork city. map went completely blank. couldn't even use the wayshrine without selecting another location from the list first

    I read in a add-on creators forum that its a known in game bug and ZOS is working on it.

    I think I found a workaround to fix the map that seems to work. Once you enter CWC and the map is blank, walk into some building. Like the Bank. Then look at the map. That seems to fix the map. If you are using a mini-map addon, it may not be fixed, and refreshing it may not work either. But I found at this point a /reloadui fixes the minimap too.
    Your mileage may vary.

    PC EU. I noticed it this evening - at a way shrine the "current" map was blank. As soon as I selected the zone I wanted it was OK and all was good.

    PC EU. Was fine yesterday for me but bugs (empty map, minimap not working) now when porting to Brass Fortress wayshrine.
    Workaround of going inside a building and doing /reloadui appears to work but I'll go and do other things than Clockwork City anyway.

    It's been since the absolute very beginning.

    There are certain wayshrines - and clockwork is by far the most notorious - that don't interact for about a second or two. You have to stand there for a little bit for the interaction dialogue to show up. This bug started with the beginning of the very creation of the zone. And now years later the map still goes blank and it's super frustrating.

    My advice to developers would be to rip out the entire wayshrine somehow. Betcha anything that fixes the problem.

    I've seen it once, the completely blank map while I was in CWC, but that was a few weeks ago now, I think.
