Clockwork City quest 'Oscillating Son' reward

Given that the prerequisite quest 'Precursor Maker' is a per-character quest which also happens to be needed to unlock the follow-up 'Oscillating Son' quest,
is the reward for completing 'Oscillating Son' also per-character, or (given its nature) just a once-per-account thing?

(I'm guessing it's a once-per-account thing, but I just wanted to make sure before taking the time to do those two quests [Precursor Maker and Oscillating Son] on multiple characters.)

It should be per character, or else there's no ways of getting multiple precursors, but I havent tried.

I'll try it and see what happens. I already have the Precursor quest started on one of my other characters.

Do you ask about the furniture-precursor? Yes, you can collect him once per char. I use 4 of them in one of my houses as guards.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

Ok, cool. Thanks for letting me know!
Sorry if my phrasing of the question was a little confusing. I was intentionally trying to be vague, to avoid giving away any spoilers for anyone who hadn't done the Clockwork zone, yet.

Good point. Didn't think about that.
