imust say this about speed runners in dfk

i'm really annoyed by you and this dungeon. this is 2x on the same toon i got the quest and cant complete it. though this time is better than last at least i got to light the flame and complete the fight but the stairs to the last boss i could not get up. wouldn't let me in even after they started that fight. verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry annoyed.

The title seems to indicate the complaint is about speed runners though the comments in the OP do not mention speed runners. If this is complaining about speed runners, most will not see this thread. Those that do will not be concerned as they have different interests in running that dungeon.

When asking for a random group with random interests in how to run a dungeon one will get such randomness. That is the life of using the GF to do a dungeon.

When someone has a specific way or purpose for running a dungeon it is always best to form one's own group with everyone knowing the intent and purpose of the group.

I don't think the people OP was in the dungeon with are very likely to read this post - it might be better to take up these issues with the specific people in the dungeon?

That said, as a forum bystander I would suggest immediately letting the other people in a random know that you're doing the quest... in my experience, many will happily slow down to ensure that another player gets quest completion.

(If you did tell them and they ran on ahead anyway, I'm sorry you had that experience... but random dungeons means random people. They may be kind and helpful, or brusk and hurried. They may not even speak English and thus may not understand a request to slow down... It is definitely worth looking into joining a guild and asking there for a group to help with quest completion in a specific dungeon, instead of rolling the dice with the random finder).

What dungeon is this? I know VoM is a pain to do with PUGs but I think all the others are completable?

in the thread title "dfk"=direfrost keep

the one where you have to take time, light the fire, and then fight those 3 mini boss enemies lol (which none of this happens if you arent doing quest)
