The stacking of certain Crown items in U39 was a welcome update, and I know I appreciated it. Can we please have the same with treasure maps in the next update?
@ZOS_Kevin , any chance you could pass this on to whoever's in charge of the scope of that update? So many of us would welcome this.

umm what? you can't have more than 1 of any treasure map type so it'd be impossible for them to stack.

Sure you can. If you stick it in your bank or one of your storage chests then you can pick up another one. And if you've already got one in your bank and every single one of your storage chests then your alts can take them out so you can put another one in. I've literally got a dozen or more copies of certain treasure maps spread out amongst my alts, storage chests, bank, and my main character. It would be awesome if I could stack them together.

And runeboxes, please let us stack runeboxes. I know, I know-- I should just destroy them. But I can't bring myself to do that. And I'm not in any guilds that have a guild trader, so I can't sell them.

Identical surveys stack (since roughly 2017, I think), so I see no reason why treasure maps can't be treated the same way.

i think i have also read of people getting 2 identical treasure maps in a loot source such as a thieves trove, and doing a "loot all" will stack them likely because its adding them to your inventory at the same time

treasure maps would definitely be able to stack if they remove the "unique" flag on them

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

It removes the mystery/intrigue of the treasure maps imo, they need to stay unique and never stack. Why are you hoarding multiples anyways? if i find a duplicate then i send one to a friend rather than to bank, encourages trading, so it's a win for the economy as it is right now.

what mystery/intrigue? the maps are numbered and have known locations
a big problem is looting chests and not being able to get everything due to a map that you already have.

unless it's a map that might give an antiquity lead i doubt anyone wants to have them sent to them

treasure map chests have decent items, but i really don't like digging them up every single day and if they stacked i could just put them all in my bank like surveys

Maybe on PC you have known locations with addons, but many people, especially those on console look at the maps and figure out the locations by hand, i also look at treasure maps and find the location, treasure map loot is worth it as it's equal to a master chest and therefore worth hunting down once you get them

also looting is non-issue. i'm happy when i see already searched chests that have a map I don't have yet.

Even if you're looking for them by hand (which should be optional) how does pulling Belkarth Map 2 from your bank instead of you already having it in your inventory reduce mystery or intrigue?

Shouldn't be banked in the first place? it's a unique item you should only have 1 of. You shouldn't be allowed to loot another one if you already have one in your bank IMO

You already get one in the bank and one in your inventory. It's how it already works. And with absolutely no detrimental effect on mystery for those who prefer to look for 1 map.

Treasure maps should stack. It’s just inconvenient that they don’t. It doesn’t add any mystery or intrigue by being “unique” (can only carry and/or have 1 of each in bank) and not stackable.

    It’s just purely inconvenient.

the loot is definitely not equal to a master chest, for me on avg its maybe an advanced chest but sometimes its so bad it feels like an intermediate chest

master chests typically give me 2 pc of set gear, where as advanced is only 1

and like some other posters said, i basically do not want any maps unless they have leads i still need codex entries for, but with the poor RNG for any leads, you need to do like dozens of maps at a time, which is hard to do when you cant stack the maps

Every single copy of a given thing should stack. Maps, boxes, frigging unused siege, whatever. It's monumentally stupid that they don't.

Came back to game after a fairly long break and discovered I had over 100 treasure maps, strewn all over my 9 toons. Due to not being able to stack, it took me 2 entire weekend days to do them. It was a serious hassle that I could only grab a few at a time.

Got 2 Legendaqry leads out of them, and a ton of green/blue items to give to a new character I am leveling crafting on. Other than that, it really was not worth the effort. These boxes rarely drop set gear, and if they do, with crap traits. I think I got 2 items worth about 10k total gold, the rest was either not-named or gear set pieces with junk traits. That is pretty common for those boxes.

Indeed. There is something about map coordinates for some of the websites that show the treasure map locations but I don’t think that even exists on console.

I strongly dislike digging up maps and surveys because I'm on console. And we don't have add-ons, so I have to sit there and try and find them with my phone. It's annoying. So, I dig them up every now and then in batches. This way it's an occasional chore to make my game better rather than a constant annoyance.

No give me my 200 stack of bleakrock treasure map IIs.

Or even better 2000. All stacks of everything to 2000. If they refuse to give me more bank space even with eso+, they can at least do that.
