Anyone else experiencing bad lag and getting kicked out of game multiple times? Every time there is an update this seems to happen. Why can't updates be released with no issues? What does an update have to do with the server being down or having problems? This really sucks.

I can't even get into the game at all. I got as far as the character login, went to my settings to alter my sound that was a bit loud for me today since I have a bit of a headache, and then got an error message saying I was booted when I went back to the character login page. Tried several times including reloading the whole launcher and just keep getting the same error or that I am in a 1 second queue that then immediately changes to the error.

Not getting kicked out, but , now I can't Logout without being kicked to the sign on screen.
It seems that some end of run tidying up is taking too much time

Other players I know are getting kicked out, also. I know it's not my internet connection, since I can see that it's fine and can surf everywhere else. Just irritating that this happens with every patch. A patch should fix issues, not create new ones.

It's possible these crashes could be caused by outdated addons, an extremely common cause of crashes during and after a big update.

The cause could also be that the servers are busy pushing out the update to millions of clients, which results in slower connections between the server and clients, especially for those with slower local connection speeds. Our game clients likely have timeout checks in them that'll kick you if a data transfer takes too long, to combat hacks.

Make sure you disable any out-of-date addons until the authors have a chance to update them, and maybe think about taking a day off from the game if you continue to have issues. Patch day is always the worst for server performance, and things should be much more stable after a day or so.

Yes, got 999+ spikes again and got booted earlier today. Did not try to get back again yet.

As always, platform, server, and real world location plus ISP and whether a direct login or via e.g. Steam would be really useful information in these threads.

Had this happen a lot this week, Missed 2 days worth of event tickets because the game is literally unplayable in Cyrodiil.
When are you guys going to actually fix the game @ZOS_GinaBruno ??
