PC NA server GH player here. I have sent multiple tickets with videos and screen shots and detailed explanation how to achieve specific exploits in pvp and they still haven’t corrected the exploits. [snip] We just get auto replied when we submit them.

I think pvp is done in this game as in there will be no further anything regarding pvp. I bet if this was an exploit allowing a pve dungeon or trial to be completed in 3 minutes they would have that patched up fast... oh and the in game store.

On a side note the cheating in pvp is growing each day as more and more people realize nothing is being done about it.

I think you're right. The number of "super-skilled" players seems to be on the rise, which always seems to happen until there's a wave of bans, after which most of them disappear or mysteriously become less skilled. My favorite time to PvP is right after a ban wave.

Its weird that ZOS is so quick to address exploits in dungeons and trials but takes forever to fix pvp exploits, if they ever actually do. How long has lighting staff splash damage been "overperforming"? Maybe it's hard for them to pick actual, legitimate exploit reports out of the mountains of "They're cheating because I lost!" reports.

i dont think its actually fixing the issue, just reducing the overall amount of dmg that can be splashed to make it easier to avoid

so that final tick will still likely hurt in pvp if it splashes from a NPC target, but its still an improvement over all 3 ticks doing the enormous splash dmg

What it also means is that Lightning HA players will be able to fight bosses in IC cross alliance without damaging people they aren't intending to. Just stop the channel before the final tick to avoid the splash and you won't hit opposing faction players who are helping burn down a boss at 2 am when there are only 5 people playing.

I'd prefer the splash just would not hit enemy players at all to PvE nerf in next patch.
Edit: I still play with100 - 999+ms lag. Oakensorc is afaik only build which is viable for any challenging enemy for me. If I played IC - which I do not - I could not avoid splashing other faction if I wanted.

One thing I have been seeing in Public Dungeons is Bosses just dying like they were one shotted with no one around every time we move toward one it just dies this happened for several hours in one of the Orsinium public dungeons.

I'm fairly new so I could be missing something

Are they *staying* in the keep from when it HAS previously been damaged, but the attackers were repelled, but one attacker managed to stay behind inside the inner keep, in stealth mode?

Is it even possible that a person could originally be DC, and thus could be inside the keep "legitimately", then uses an alliance change token to switch and take the scroll from the inside while there are no players there, only comparatively easily killable guards?

he wasn't staying in the keep, he took the scroll one first time, but was killed and DC bring back the scroll in the same keep, then the same player took the scroll again without the keep being under attack inbetween.

As for the use of alliance change token, I think you have to be on the characters screen to use it and reconnecting brings you to the alliance base, and it would be a very expensive way to troll.

I've also seen cheats where people are being intentionally baited into keeps using some sort of exploit, and then the player who got baited gets banned for cheating for "further investigation".

From what I've seen most of these bans have been reversed after investigation, but be extremely careful in Cyrodiil and always keep some sort of Shadowplay running in the background for when something strange happens so that you can prove your innocence to ZoS. Also do not try to kill anyone if you somehow get exploited into a closed keep.

Cheating has been a problem for so long and it seems Zeni is not able to keep up with it.

Just a few days ago i had a dude in BG's who just kept oneshotting everybody, his team included with 28k aoe damage per 0.5 seconds. I have not the slightest idea how that would be possible without using shady software or abusing a gamebreaking bug. I gave up on reporting such things though. Every Time i sent Videos with my reports, they didnt have a single view, so no one looked at them.

I think it's past time a zos employee spent a few days checking out the new cheats and proposing some ways to deal with them. The one I see most and is likely very hard to catch people using is complete and total CC immunity at all times.
