Best offense against Masters DW/Vatesh bbar + Engine Guardian

Seeing this wretched combo increasing in pvp battlegrounds.

Masters DW/Vatesh has been the cookie cutter meta hump for at least a year, so hardly new, but now I’m seeing these twerps slap on Engine Guardian for good measure. One 45k health polar wind spamming warden has his bear and his engine guardian running interference while his metahump weapons suck the life out of you.

Any advice on effectively killing these crutch-happy juggernauts of overpowered gear sets?

Is this just what the game has become?

LoS maybe? That would at least somewhat remedy the vateshran. As far as master's DW, not much you can do besides keeping your healing buffs up. Offense will be your best defense here, as just sitting on your defensive bar against these sets will not do you any good.

maras balm? something else that can purge? stay out of melee range? LOS to break vateshran dot?

if they were like trolling outside of a keep or something, i would just siege them, or ignore them

if they are on a resource tower camping, ignore them especially if they just run in the tower at the first sign of another player

at least thats what i would do in cyro, if they are not in melee with you they cant get the procs off, im not sure how i would handle BGs except make sure your group has a purger and stick together

Master DW and Vateshran is META. It is OP. Every class uses this, no class identity. Both of them need nerfs.

Is this just what the game has become?

This is what the devs seem to have in mind for the game for the foreseeable future, so best to just sit back, join in and enjoy the cheesefest that it has become or take a break until they decide to finally bring some actual ability casting back into the game.

That is true, every class uses it. Both of these sets are easy to nerf, without breaking them. Are devs blind, or lazy?
