summerset shimmerene missing Quest Npc for Mage Guild and Fighters guild

My problem consists of this: when I started playing and went through the tutorial, I chose the direction of Summerset as on my old Steam account 2 years ago (now I have a new one due to the theft of my old account) and when I started playing everything was in ok, but then I went to the city of Shimmerene, I took the quest to add both the Mage Guild and the fighters guild, but such a problem arose.....the problem was that there were no NPCs to complete the quest...even after 4 days (in real life) and so I went to the capital and there were NPCs for both the Mage Guild and the Fighters guild, I went to Skyrim and there was also an Npc to connect but there are still none in Shimmerene, does anyone have the same problem, it's a bug or what is it??? Ece Support in this too, there is nothing to say to me.

You will - in Alinor, not Shimmerene.

Did you check in the AD first zone, Auridon? Summerset is an added DLC, not in "direct line" for the AD zone quests. I do remember seeing those NPCs in Alinor, though not in Shimmerene.

I also checked the base location from the original release, the Npc was there, but not in that starting city on Summerset.

and on my part I didn't do anything wrong to blame myself, the only thing I did was I created a character and then canceled it several times because it didn't suit me and bought some things from the store......

I don't think those were ever in Shimmerene. In fact, I'm not sure they're in any starting city - I mean like Bleakrock, Khenarthi's Roost, Port Hunding. I can check on one of my babies.

it is the location of Summerset/ Shimmerene City, it is the city that is on the right on the map right next to the sea.

Well, none of the early towns have those npcs. You find them in the next city after you've done the starting areas, which is what Shimmerene is. You can go to Alinor and find both of them - Aicessar the Hall Steward is right outside the Fighter's Guildhall, with a quest arrow over his head; and Curinure the Magister is right outside the Alinor Mages Guild, also with a quest arrow.

I checked Bleakrock Village on Bleakrock Isle, Eagle's Strand and Mistral on Khenarthi's Roost, and Port Hunding on Stros M'kai. No Mages Guilds, no Fighters Guilds. There are Mystics and Magus NPCs who sell it'ems and repair gear, and the normal Weaponsmith and Armorsmith - but no quest giver NPCs.

So you're going to have to go to Vulkhul Guard on Auridon or Alinor on Summerset to find them.

hmnmmmmmmm ....maybe i reworded my problem wrong, i thought i would find that Quest to join Megu Guild and Fighters Guild and thus get Guild skill Line....

I just go to my alliance's main cities for things like this.

Aldmeri Dominion: Grahtwood
Ebonheart Pact: Mournhold
Daggerfall Covenant: Wayrest

I remember picking up the intro quests for both guilds in Shimmerene right after doing the tutorial - back in 2018 when I was completely new to this game and just grabbed all the quests that were offered.

According to UESP, both quest givers should still be there since they're listed among the NPCs you can find in the city.

They're not there now. I wandered all over there on a lowbie on the account I've never done MG on.

They used to be in Shimmerene, but were moved to Alinor approximately at the release of Necrom.....

I had a pattern for new characters --- skip tutorial, immediately hit M, and go to my inn room in Alinor - go outside, get first skyshard, then use all my weapons from the box, once on the random deer and raccoons to unlock - cut past the stable, grab the deputy quest, and the duellist quest ... go to crafting and make one, each, of the helmets to unlock armor. Then, I would head from there to the mid level to turn in deputy quest, where I usually level, or get close, and grab the early stages of the Duellist quest that need to be done..... talk to the elf in the inn, and get the sword, and then, off to the delve.

Using the shrine at Alinor, which unlocks it - and if I haven't leveled, yet, I will, there.... I go to Shimmerene, grab both the mage and fighter quest, and then head out to the delve for the elf family name.... which was, conveniently, nearby... grabbing a skyshard from the ruins, right near the delve.

Once I have the name, hit map, and pop to the inn room in Alinor, again, and turn and talk to the second, right there, and then go finish the duellist quest,

The only thing that made it unpleasant was the lady nightwalker screaming and selling her wares, near the duellist....

I'm pretty sure I picked up both Mages and Fighters guild there for a new character at some year. And tried to do same but could not find the npcs with recent new char.

Actually, back when I started playing, they WERE there. But they're missing now - checked again just now, there's various mage types inside, and a sweeping khajiit, but no Curinure. Very odd.

ive always picked up mages guild, fighters guild, and undaunted from vulkel guard in auridon - old habits lol

They've been in Alinor for years. Maybe they were also in Shimmerene but they've always been in Alinor.

There's a conspicuous absence of specifics here, but this might be relevant.

UESP is sometimes out of date, unfortunately. Someone might want to make a note there if the NPCs don't appear in Shimmerene anymore.

They're still listed on the map for Shimmerene. It's odd that Summerset has two cities with a Mages Guild and Fighters Guild, so maybe they felt that Alinor was a better place for those NPCs to be?
