Why the hell I have to spent 7500 crown for complete pvp achievements

DeLaHaze90
Come on Devs be serious. I hope soon you repair that achievements, and get job done just with one alliance. There’s not only players that can play 18/24 hours with multiple toon. There are people that have growed up and now have wife and sons. And I don’t have 50 bucks for change alliance 3 times (third for come back on your preferred). Think about it please and be serious with yourself, repair that achievements.I hope I’m not the only that feels discouraging to still play the game for that achievement. Of course I have get all other’s pvp achievements except for the battlegrounds ones.(ps5 player)
Cheers

    Ah I think they mean the “Glory of the Daggerfall Covenant/Ebonheart Pact/Aldmeri Dominion” achievements.

    @DeLaHaze90 you know you don’t have to get them all on one character, right? You can roll characters for the other 2 alliances.

    I can't decide if the original post fits into the PVP category or the PHP category.

    PVP= Players vs Players
    PHP= Players Helping Players

    Also alts are a thing in this game. Like what was said before in the comments.

    There is no need to waste all your energy with in a day grinding to get an achievement. It's ok if things like this take a bit more time to get. Be patient 🙂.

    Make a new character in a different alliance, it really isn’t that deep.

    Personally I like this change, if a campaign population is unbalanced it might encourage players to move to a more unpopulated alliance to balance it out a bit and keep it fresh

    This "argument" again.
    What do your personal circumstances have to do with the game? Why did you pick a type of game that is traditionally NOT known for instant gratifications but long term commitment and patience if your time schedule does not allow to spend enough of your time in the first place? I get it, things can change and everything, but you can not expect the developers to design their game around peoples life scripts. Why do you even NEED those achievements if your life is so busy now. And why do you even consider PAYING for an achievement instead of earning it?

Consider PAYING? I’m forced to PAYING because I’m not goin to run other toons. The only thing I can do now is pay someone with golds for crowns and buy 3 alliance token.

    No one is forcing you to pay for anything, because no one is forcing you to get those achievements.

    If you only want to play one alliance in PvP dont expect to get an achievement that is designed for the other alliances. Its that simple.
    And if you want it without rolling new chars youre going to have to pay apparently, but thats entirely your choice, no one is forcing you.

    You still haven't answered why you think you need that achievement? It doesn't give you anything other than bragging rights. It doesn't require or even encourage you to pay, just to make toons on different alliances. I just don't see why people take so much issue with this achievement. Just because it's there doesn't mean you need to get it.

    If you are a faction loyalist and a single-character player this achievement isn’t for you.

    If you are an achievement completionist your options are to create an alt for each other faction and commit some time to pvping, buy faction change tokens from the crown store, or pay gold to be sent faction change tokens by another player.

    You aren’t going to receive much sympathy for taking the stance “I don’t like any of my options so I’m going to pretend there are no options and be mad about it.”

    Re-reading my post, I think it was a tad too harshly worded. Mainly because I was kind of focused on replying to your life/time argument (which - I admit - always tends to trigger my reflexes). This wasn't helpful and not neccessary, sorry about that. Rest assured though, that this is not the only instance where players feel a bit screwed by the game.
    I understand that the situation is frustrating. However, as a pvp player, I'm sure you have ways to gather enough gold an buy the tokens. Good luck with your project.

    I got these on Xbox years ago all on the same toon. You just watch the map, and when your faction has keep locked another alliance, you zip through their gates and go get the shard. It takes time, and you have to either be fast/sturdy, or you need invisibility pots, but it's doable if you want the achievement that bad.

    Pretty sure they're referring to the new-ish alliance-specific PvP achievements rather than skyshards.

    it is annoying, as i only have AD toons lol

    i also think it would be weird after an alliance change token, if i bothered i would constantly forget which color is which as ive literally only played AD for 9.5 years (a lot of it was habit from back before one tamriel when faction mattered in pve)

    if i actually want to bother with it at some point, the achievements themselves arent too hard, the only annoying part of the achievement is doing 30 conquest missions (because there is a limit of 4 per day)

    I'm a yellow through and through, but I have a couple of characters that I don't use for PvP that I made a red and a blue so that I can knock out the achievements outside of my main campaign. This also means that I can play with non-yellow friends every now and then, once again outside of my main campaign. Not sure I see the issue with these achievements, especially not when there are so many other pressing issues that need to be addressed first.

    It is just a matter of your choice.
    You can choose new toons.
    You can choose tokens.
    You can choose ignoring that achievement. Actually it is respectable choice, when you choose between spending money for a game or for your family.
    Trust me, there are lots of achievements I won't have. Some people don't do Ledgerdemain achievements according to their principles. Choice.
    Now why ZoS should fix something, that wasn't broken? Because you want the achievement without actually achieving it? I can't take this choice as respectable.
