Where do you think Tamriel would be if there was zero Daedric influence?

Absolutely no contact or exposure, no portals between, no invasions, no deals with Princes or summoned creatures/Dremora. Nirn is fully isolated. Would the civilizations still be slowly receding, or would the absence of existential threats let the Races flourish.

At what point in time? Basically all of Tamriel wouldn't be where it is if not for outside influence, Daedra or otherwise. The wild hunt would have destroyed everything had Y'ffre not gotten to them. And technically since daedra and aedra are both Et'ada, you could say this Kalpa would still be in the Dawn Era without any of their power.

Now if you meant that in this current era what if there was no outside influence starting like right now, then I'm honestly sure some cultures as a whole might flourish, but there'd be huge collapses like in the Mages Guild, Conjuration magic would just cease to exist, and that includes conjured weapons/armor, and any artifacts as well, most would likely just disappear as they say items blessed by Daedra have a mind of their own, changing form and dispersing across Tamriel at random, never staying with one owner for long. Daedric cults would die out as now the Daedra don't (can't) respond.

Isn't the Wild Hunt just more Daedric (Hircine) influence?

Edit, I just read up on the Wild Hunt and I guess Hircine isn't the cause, just a meddler. That's odd how the Bosmer just have this innate ability to transform into ravenous grotesque beasts. Even so, I feel that wouldn't have been the end of everything, the other Races would eventually either find a way to contain them, or the Bosmer would just be destroyed wherever found.

If Aedra are associated with stasis and the Daedra with change then without Daedric influence there would be no or little change in Tamriel.

Considering how advanced civilization used to be in the Dawn and Merethic Eras that might be an overall good thing, seeing how Tamriel ends up.

There would be plenty of change without the Daedra. The Daemons do not hold sway over mortals changing things up they can do that fine on their own.

Don't think some races would even exist, for bad or good from some pow's. All depends if races left would destroy themselves with magic or wars, or if daedric influence wasn't just a threat, but a tempering/balancing force.

I feel like you’d have a pretty cookie cutter feudal society of humans.
I don't always drink Skooma, but when I do I go to the Southwall Corner Club. May you walk on warm sands my friends.
