All alone in the whole world, NPCs and players gone

I was on my way to find Captain Astanya outside the Vulkhel Guard Manor. All of a sudden I found myself running around all alone in Vulkhel Guard. No NPC:s, no other players - nothing. One minute they were there and the next they were gone. Also, I was on my horse and couldn't leave it.
Tried /reloadui, nothing.
Tried to exit and reload but got stuck on the loading screen, so finally I ctrl-deleted myself out.
Now: it was one thing to do bug reports during the beta. But that should not be the player's job anymore, since we are paying...
This is a really great game, so I am a bit disappointed that there are still bugs, starting with the first character creation screen.
